TES: Akavir

This is a general basis for a future game. Game projected to happen in the 2020s.

Land:

Tang Mo is a large mass of 100s of islands on the southern part of Akavir, some of these have inactive volcanoes and the general landscape of all these islands are tropical. They are all connected by bridges built by the monkey humanoids that live there. The capital is located in on the largest island located in the center of Tang Mo. This city is about the size of Hew's Bane. There are many villages and forts on other islands. Buildings are raised similar to those in elsweyr. The people are hunched forward. Their faces and body resemble a human but they are covered in fur and had strong tails that can be used in combat. They are expert woodworkers.

Ka'Po'Tun is the central eastern region of Akavir. The central region of Ka'Po'Tun is flat Savannah landscape, The western region has a mountain range similar to mountains in Rivenspire. To the north are towering snowcapped mountains. The land below is still Savannah. The coast is where the Savannah changes into a beach than spans down and around the southern coast of Ka'Po'Tun to where it meets the mountains dividing it from Tsaesci to the west. The capital is located on the south western corner of Ka'Po'Tun. It is very large and spans the whole southwestern region. The city itself about the size of Stros M'kai. There are many villages and forts across Ka'Po'Tun. There are 2 other smaller cities and many villages in the Savannah. The people appear like larger khajiit they have more prominent feline characteristics. They can travels very quickly of all 4s. They are also very fast in combat.

Tsaesci is the western central region it has forests in the south similar to those of Daenia in high rock. There are large spans of valleys, rivers, and hills in in the north. Across the center there is a large river that leads from the mountains dividing it from Ka'Po'Tun that separates the two landscapes. The capital is a great city located along this river on both sides connected by multiple great bridges. It is the largest city in Akavir it is 1/3 the size of Skyrim. There are only villages and forts outside of the capital. Their architecture very bizarre because the buildings are made of marble and other stone minerals. They are very polished and smooth. The streets and bridges are made of polished malachite. The Tsaesci are very skilled masons and assassins.

Kamal is the northern section it is a frozen land mountainous land. There is a mountain range across the entire southern border. The capital is in the center and is the where most of the Snow Demons live. The city is also about the size of Stros M'kai. However buildings are much taller and larger than other cities. 3 more cities on the north, west, and east coasts that are smaller (wayrest size). There are forts across the land in between the cities. Their structures are carved from the ice. The snow demons are very skilled in blacksmithing and mining. The snow demons appear as a smaller giant than those in skyrim. They have larger back like trolls with Ice shards growing out of them. They are very powerful with 2H weapons.

Each of these regions are about the twice the size of Skyrim. They are not the same shape.

Storyline:

Tamriel is at peace and the only threat is the unrest in Akavir. You depart from western Morrowind to Akavir. You stop at the 3 island kingdoms (some short side storylines on each island). You restore the forts from Uriel Septim V's invasion of Akavir. For following fleets to rest at. Leaders from all over Tamriel depart with large amounts of soldiers to Akavir to settle the tension.

There are many side quests, dungeons, locals, ruins, and lore.

The leaders from Black Marsh settle aggression of Snake People in Tsaesci.

Leaders from Summerset and Valenwood sort out dispute with the Monkey Humans in Tang Mo.

Khajiiti leaders organize peace talks with the Tiger dragons of Ka'Po'Tun.

Nords, Bretons, and Orcs try to end the aggression of the Snow Demons in Kamal.

Imperials are spread across all these fleets helping each fleet with their tasks and giving military protection.

The player starts in Tang Mo. Once they have settled the disputes they move on to Ka'Po'Tun, then to Tsaesci and finally to Kamal.

Once all the nations of Akavir are at peace with each other and Tamriel. Some of the races migrate to Akavir and Tamriel. After the disputes are resolved many soldiers and Migrants from Tamriel settle in the cities of Akavir. The player can go through in endgame and see the new populations of Akavir. This opens a huge amount of quests in endgame.

You can go back to anywhere in Akavir and even return to the island forts in between Akavir and Tamriel.

Extra: When full-dive VR is available this game could be a VRMMORPG.
This will feature the largest amount of skills/skill-lines, armor, and weapons ever seen in a game.

inb4 admins close the thread because the forum is for ESO only topics.

But I've wanted to gush and talk about the next ES game as well. Would love to create a female Tsaesci...

It be interesting if we went to Akavir and found out that they have Gods that arent the Aedra or Daedra and that their Gods also claim to have created Nirn/want to conquer it. That Akavir deals with similar situations as Tamriel does (Oblivion Crisis/Planemeld/Dragonbreaks etc) but with its own flavor.

I'm positive Akavir deals with the same Daedra. Their reach is all of Nirn, though I guess they don't find the need to mention Akavir to the peoples of Tamriel and vice versa. However the game(s) have made it seem that their focus is usually always on Tamriel. That might just be a writing plot hole.

@Korah_Eaglecry : We already know the Akaviri have at least some dealings with the Daedra we know; remember the Akaviri swords are in Soul Shriven style because some poor Tsaesci wound up in Coldharbour.

This would be a separate game. It would be the first VRMMORPG with full dive VR. This wont even be possible until at least 2020 when Full Dive VR technology is available for the masses. It would also have near reality graphics.

Meh, storyline seems lame, to be entirely honest. Cliche. I believe you're actually proposing that Bethesda Studios makes a game like this? Meaning that it would be set in the post-Skyrim era? Depending on current state, Tamrielic races could never work together in a way that they could actually organize a massive fleet for an invasion of a continent that would most likely treat the "Tamrielis" (?) as their enemies. The Ebonheart Pact, for example, was formed because of depair, not because the races would have some kind of a friendly relationship. Which is also the reason why you don't hear about the Pact in the present day, because it's gone. Also, Tamriel doesn't really consist of cultures that would go on marinal raids and invade exotic foreign lands over on the horizon. Sure, there's plenty of land invasions going on, but that's also one of the reasons why they'll never be able to work together.

I'm pretty sure that Tamrielic invasion of Akavir would end rather quickly and could hardly reach the success of the Akaviri invasions of the past. The sheer mixture of cultures would cause major issues for both factions. It would be a horrific mess, probably filled with mass murder, wars, perhaps even genocide.

Everyone makes peace with everyone? And, of course, the Northeners make peace with Northeners, Cats with Cats, Lizards with Lizards? Ehhhhhhhhh, I'm pretty sure The Elder Scrolls have had their fair share of mediocre and average stories. Also, Tamrielis could care less if Akavir is having trouble. "No invasions, no problems. We're having enough trouble as it is already."

This is just an idea and the story would be set very far in the future. The storyline I wrote is bare bones. There would be much more to the story only the leaders of Akavir want tamriel to help end the disputes that have been going on for all of Akaviri history. You would need to turn an massive amount of people to work together for the first time in history. Since this is so far ahead the people of tamriel have changed so they are finally at peace. I'm talking like more than 5 eras ahead.

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

I hope so. Mysterious Akavir is ridiculously elusive. The ebonheart pact was formed to deal with the Akavir invasion and yet we see nothing of the invaders???

It would be too cool to go to Akavir.

nirn and the aurbis is/are in dragonbreaks that includes akivir and every nirn land mass.

the only exceptions would be Anu and Padomay.

tamriel sees daedric incursions and planemeld due to the fact tamriel itself cyrodiil the white gold tower is what holds nirn together daedra want theWGT daedra claim this "magical" structure bye bye akatosh bye bye every mortals dream of walking aetherius. this means time ends daedra cannot end time that is up to 2 gods- alduin and lorkhan.

i cant see other landmasses any time getting a game title to themelves because they hold no significance to to nirn other then invading tamriel. but i would like to see akiviri.

We cant say with 100 percent certainty what Akavir has as far as dieties go. As far as I know we dont have a great deal of information on Akavir let a lone enough sources on Aedric/Daedric influence.

I was simply saying how interesting it would be that Aedra/Daedra wouldnt have influence in a region much like you wouldnt have expected the gods of the Greeks to be found in India or the islands of SE Asia. God forbid Akavir was different in that aspect. You wanna be lore masters might have a stroke.

More realistic is another Akavir invasion after events of Skyrim. Tamriel is weekend in wars, dragons are back and Tsaesci may want try to consume them once more.

Damn.... never did see it that way. Just checked the lorebook regarding that. Seriously... how could have I missed that detail after years of playing the Elder Scrolls series! Pretty cool lore to think about :)

It is possible since Bethesda may give us glimpses of the Akaviri races or have the next game take place in Tamriel while the Akaviri are there (invasion, dragon hunting,...)

Besides, it's not uncommon for a Hero to travel to Akavir (Nerevarine)

Would love to see it, but gotta be patient. Pretty sure both Zenimax and Bethesda wanna flesh out Tamriel first and set the lore in stone :p

If TES: VI takes us away from Tamriel I will be sooooo happy. So much new lore and stuff to explore!

With ESO showing us most of Tamriel, Bethesda has a ton more space to create new stuff in a place like Akavir :)

To be a VR only game/MMO, VR would actually have to get mainstream and that won't happen until VR gear costs under 100$.

VR won't take off when you have crap like HTC Vive at 1149$ CAD.....
