Sprinting with your weapon(s) drawn is slower than sprinting with your weapon(s) sheathed, and that's how it should be, correct? Why then, would your sheathed jumps be a far cry from your unsheathed jumps?
Basically what happens is this (I can create a video if need be),
- When sprinting at full speed and weapon drawn, you jump normally. Your momentum carries you.
- When sprinting at full speed and your weapon sheathed, you jump as if you were jumping from a stationary position. Your momentum completely vanishes.
This is even more noticeable and jarring when you throw speed boosts into the mix. I've fell in the lava pits of Chorral a few times because of this (then I had to travel all the way back!), my fault sort of, but still. It's also annoying if you're trying to climb up a hill, or you want to jump off a cliff into some water (only to go "splat"). I'll grant you that this isn't the most important fixes that needs to happen in this game, but it's still a bug, and it should be fixed.
