Coming back?

A friend would like to give ESO a wack so have agreed to come back for some play since he can't find anyone to group with (?????).

Suggested he join some guilds (hopefully he will).

Query: It's been about 6 months since last I played. Any big changes on the tutorial levels I should know about? (going to start a new character - have been keeping up on the new stuff) and, are people still insisting that you MUST play their way and have only the skills and use only the skills they want or have we chilled out a little on that front?

Just want to be prepared before I come back for yet more Aldmeri domination.

@DenMoria Oh hunny. So many changes it's untrue.

It will largely depends upon your previous play style and where you were level and champion point wise, but yes. Many many changes.

If you didn't have vet chars and liked pvp before then you can pvp in no CP campaigns, if you have more than 160 cp then you can equip Max lvl gear and use Max lvl food and potions.

If you had vet chars and low cp you'll have gotten a number of free CP depending on previous vet level hopefully getting your vet chars to end game gear and consumables so you can just likely carry on after regearing.

If you mainly competitive pve then you're gonna want 501 (Max applicable) cp for all passives and to Max out everything applicable to your build.
