Question about Swallow Soul

I'm leveling a new nightblade and I just got swallow soul to rank 2, and it says it heals 28% of damage done per tick. I took off all my gear and it doesn't change.

I have another nightblade that has it at rank 4 and it's 25%

What's going on?

I wasn't aware CP would change the actual values on that tooltip

That portion of it reads:

Steal an enemy’s life force, dealing [x] Magic Damage and healing you for 25% of the damage inflicted every 2 seconds for 10 seconds.

Passives/buffs that increase the effectiveness of healing will impact this tooltip. It could be from CP or a powered weapon, or the soul siphoner passive etc etc.

CP does affect the tool tip I believe. I noticed this when testing how "Befouled CP" works on Major Defile abilities.

If you confirm that it's not CP, be sure to also confirm that you aren't being buffed by someone nearby. An example would be if someone is giving you Minor or Major Vitality, which would boost your healing received.

Healing received, done cp affects it.

Ok I didn't have points into blessed on my stamblade which was only showing 25% and I put the same amount into it as my magic one and now it's healing is at 27% so the cp did bump up the tooltip, but it's still short 1%.

The only diff in cp now between them is the stamblade has points into melee damage/regen obviously, which shouldn't affect the tooltip healing part, only the damage. So I still don't know what exactly is going on.

Nevermind I figured it out. The 1% extra is coming from having another siphoning ability slotted which increases healing done from a passive lol.

So anything that gives you more healing done will make that tooltip go up.
