have writ timers changed? Xbox EU

I always do my writs in the am, roughly the same time. Last few days I've been unable to pickup the consumable writ in wrothgar, but after faffing around a few mins it appeared. Felt like it's on a 24hr timer?

I have seen this. It seems the quest marker for the Writ does not show up immediately on login for all characters. Within a couple of minutes it does. I have also seen this with Hireling mails sporadically on one character, where I don't see the emails until I log to the next character. It is not a timer issue, but some delay that only affects some characters some of the time. A reload of the zone or the UI might make the board active without the wait.

So, the timers have not changed, and they were never really on a fixed 24 hour timer anyway. There is a time, for me it is about midnight, where the writ boards reset. In other words, I can log on at 11:30 to all my characters, do the writs, then go back to the first one at 12:01 and pick up then next day's writs. This time for reset varies by time zone. Of course, if I grab a writ at 12:01, I have to wait until 12:01 the next night to do a writ, so in that aspect, it would be 24 hours.

I thought all daily quests had a static reset time? Unless that's changed or I'm horribly wrong.

I'm sure they did @Turelus used to be a out 4:30/5am UK time. I only know as I stayed up through it once ha! But then I've read it's 20hrs tops but last 2/3 days it's only offered me the equipment writs not Consumables but if I run around for 20 mins or so then the board marker appears. I've opened a ticket just in case.

@beardimus same with me but it started happening a few weeks ago for me. I've even had it where I haven't done writs for a couple of days and when I hand them in sometimes they don't all pop back up on the boards

Awesome as ever thanks @nestor. I opened a ticket so hopefully we'll see what they say. I've only seen it this week maybe since patch. (Xbox) and I do them daily.

Well, I only noticed this delay on the Writ Boards with the update before last on the PC, so, that jives as your patches are about 2 or 3 weeks later than ours.
