Happy 1 year Anniversary console players

To those like myself who've been here since the start Happy Anniversary.
What have been your stand out memories of the past 12 months??

The good for me has been wrothgar as a whole, what a briliantly designed & finished zone , and also its the first time ive been able to take this orc home in an elder scrolls game .
The bad memories for me have been the shameful 3day ban the bank exploiters got and the fact they were allowed keep the ill gotten gains. This lack of enforcement from ZOS on this has left a bitter taste in my mouth. Should have emptied their inventories completely

With DB coming next week and text chat hopefully in Q3 I'm looking forward to year two.

The major nerfs every dlc and lack of text chat have stood out the most over the past year.

Really liked the game a year ago. Orsinium was very good but every patch after that has been worse and worse ZOS is just lucky I'm so cheap I don't buy a gaming PC and theres not a better MMO on console.

Oooh yeah. It's been fun! I was genuinely surprised that this game turned out to be my new World of Warcraft/RS and other games that I used to play a lot.

Even though it feels kinda dry and repetitive at times (until new DLC's/changes come out,) it's still one of the greatest games that I've played, ESPECIALLY on console, considering that I've only ever been used to playing FPS-type games on console from back on the original Xbox; like Halo, Battlefield, typically CoD, GTA etc etc.. but only a few console games got me immersed, and that was games like Fable and a few others which I cannot remember off the top of my head. and of course when the PS4 came out, a few games caught my attention but greatly disappointed me *cough* Destiny *cough* so... it was a surprise to see how well PS4 handles ESO, despite all of the lag in Cyrodiil.

I've only been playing it for six months (other distractions got in the way last year), but my most treasured memories so far revolve around the simple pleasures of exploration, crafting (it has huge potential) and bumping into some genuinely decent, considerate and helpful people whilst wandering around various places. I've hardly scratched the surface in terms of content - Wrothgar lies undiscovered, Abah's Landing is as yet unfound and all my characters are still low level, but i'm having a brilliant time. An absolute blast, in fact. The PS4 has proved to be a surprisingly decent bit of kit.

There are a few things I miss from earlier games (proper spell-casting, expansive alchemy and the ability to run around in clothing or low-level armour without getting flattened by just about everything), but it hasn't put me off.

My highlight was playing PvP when I first got the game a year ago. There was no lag at all in the non vet campaign I started in. And I had some awesome battles! Now fully leveled i play in scourge and it's still fun, just not as fun as it was in the beginning.

The bad has been my guild bank getting robbed twice! My own fault though lol

I find it funny that when I first started playing Elder Scrolls, it was Morrowind and I hated the first person aspect, but I gave it another shot and was instantly hooked. I even have Daggerfall and Arena now as well, so I have the whole series. But while Oblivion was still new I said to my roommate that it would be awesome if there was an Elder Scrolls MMO and WELL..ESO came out I was so happy and I still am, it's an awesome game! But Happy Anniversary to everyone!

One year... doesn't even feel that long. 8 maxed characters and 704 cp later and I'm still having a blast playing this game everyday. Every dlc that drops I enjoy playing because I adapt to the changes that are brought not complain about them. It's like another challenge and I love challenges. Not sure what to do with my life after ESO is done with dlc's. I'll probably go outside I heard it's nice.

the constant nerfs that are not needed thats the bad in this game. the good i guess is all the bootyfull scenery

I've enjoyed it. I've conquered all the lands, kicked serious butt in PVP, learned a lot since day1 (launch day) and have much more to learn.

There is so much they can do with this game and I'm hoping they utilize the potential.

The one down side of it all is that of the 6 friends who made me buy this game in the beginning, none of them play it any more. They didn't even play past the one month mark. lol

What about our Loyalty Rewards? Seems like the 1 year on console is not a big deal to ZOS. It's a big deal to me. I'm almost at 501 champion points.

I was hoping for a tiger sench after having ESO plus for 1 year...

The senche would have been nice , something from ZOS to even ackowledge the day would have been nice too. They might remember us next year...

Me and several other Guildmembers were doing a Sewers run and something was said to where we all just had the biggest laugh. I don't even remember what we found so freaking funny. The moment was more about player interaction than gameplay.

I loved it on PC. Switched at launch and still love it on console.

BUT...if some game developers launch a real-world-type MMO (think GTA-ish) or post-apocalyptic MMO (should have been Fallout, damnit)....that will be the last day I play this game.

Until then, I'll keep farming and fishing and ganking and crafting.

Currently, in preparation for DB, I am trying to level a character by only murdering innocents. No mobs. This toon has nothing against daedra or monsters. But she hates the people of Tamriel with a preoccupying and psychotic level of distain.

I want the DB patch now so I can at-least see how console players take the new CP displays now. I wish'd it showed a persons total CPinstead of the cap but oh well..

Bitter sweet for me. I felt betrayed since we were promised to get the console version for $20 since we bought it on PC. I don't think Zenimax did enough to let us know that the offer was on and expiring soon. But non the less, bought it at full price, and was disappointed with it.

Just got back a few days ago. Game seems easier now in the beginning starting at level 1. Not sure if they changed it from last year. I am enjoying the game now. Glad I gave it another try.

Im glad we put the whole "Console players dont have the attention span to stick with an MMO" notion to bed. Console servers are alive regardless of the circumstances. We could be in the midway point between DLCs and I can log into one of the major cities and see players coming and going. Run out to any location, that would traditionally be dead on PC like Hollow City and see plenty of people moving around out there. The starter zones are always bustling with new characters. Players are buying up the LTOs left and right. It doesnt matter if school just started or finished. Theres always activity.

This game is at home on consoles. Cant wait to see where this game goes in 4-5 years.

One year, huh.. wow, I feel so much like a noob for just being on ESO via PS4 only for a couple months. I think I have accomplished much within this couple of months, especially in reaching V16 within a few weeks of hard grinding playtime, but imagine what you all that have been on ESO for the year have achieved.
