Can someone tell me of a good LFG website for ESO dungeons?

The in game activity finder is not working for me.

Your best bet is to post on here your platform and server and your regular playtimes. Once you get a few people that play with you and you are comfortable, join their guilds/add them as friends so you can maintain consistent dungeon experiences.

Even if the group finder tool is fixed, it is an exercise in futility at times, what with people leaving causing wait timers, DPS pulling mass mobs and screaming at the healer, tanks using bows, etc.

The above solution may not be a quick today fix, but in the long run you will be much happier.

Your best source of consistent groups is a good guild.

Consistent in that you can usually easily find a group, and consistent in that the group you find is usually a decent one, or at least a group where the off player is trying to get better, rather than just trying to get through the content.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

The best way to find a guild is on the forum guild recruitment section they have a section for everyone. pc players for EU and NA xbox EU and NA and ps4 EU and NA pick there whichever applies to you and start looking through the guilds or create a post about looking for a guild.

    Really sick of seeing this.

I've sampled at least fifty guilds on Xbox Eu as an Aussie and you can join guilds with five hundred people and still not get a group together. Especially difficult for someone like me who likes to run on multiple characters as many days of the week as I can.

The lack of a LFG section on the forums that many other MMO's have is just plan laziness on Zos's part. I found active guilds via randomly grouping with people I met in my first month of Destiny and Warframe... ESO.. Sure I have a couple of guilds I can play with SOMETIMES as long as I'm awake at 5-6am. Let's hope text chat comes soon.

That is the crux of the issue, more than the Guilds you are in. The main Guild I am in has between 40 and 120 players on at any given time (usually in the 50 to 70 range). If Voice Chat for the Guilds is how you do things, how would anyone every hear a LFG in all the babble of voices. Actually, I am not even sure how VC works with Guilds on the Consoles. Don't need to, because no matter how it works, I can't see how groups are formed efficiently using VC with any population.

Once Text Chat is finally offered (I hope it will be finally offered) then finding groups, both in Guilds and Outside of Guilds, will be much easier. Even then, the groups you find in a guild will tend to be better.

Ok Let me rephrase it. Find a good guild that actively does dungeons that is PVE. You can always find a guild that does things like this. In the off chance that you can't There is always a new option that arises for you. Create a new guild sure it will start off slow however eventually it will grow and you can have active dungeon seeking people in that guild. PVE guilds generally are always running a dungeon of some sort you just have to ask around. When text chat comes to console it will be easier. Until then most good guilds use a phone app for text chat to find a dungeon pvp group or to make armor/craft something

I'm sorry to hear that you have had such a difficult experience.

I run 2 guilds and belong to two others with very active PSN Group Message "Guild Chats." 24 hours a day people are putting groups together for dungeons, trials, PvP, and questing (It helps that we actively recruited Aussie's and Kiwi's to aid in keeping groups going during their prime-time). Often people cycle through all of their alts doing daily pledges with different members of the guilds.

I must ask, did the vast majority of the guilds you tried not have any type of group message system going? Why was getting a group such a challenge? I am not trying to be a troll or a jerk here. I am really curious as to what the issue was.

    Hey @Rainteal!

The guilds that I've tried generally use a Facebook page. The problem for me is that I'm on Xbox Eu. I know a vast majority of Aussie players are either on PS4 or the NA server. I've probably come across maybe 10 Aussie's in the year I've played the game and I play A LOT. But alas I'm on Eu. I've brought a couple of real life friends into ESO but they either quit or can't do end game content like DSA or Imperial City dungeons.

I do have a good PVE focused guild all from the UK so when I can't sleep I do get to run the odd dungeon or trial here and there with them. I've tried starting my own guild but once again I can only seem to recruit people from Europe and after a while they drop out... Plus not everyone can just meet and be insta-friends, I've tried some guilds that perhaps could have given me what I needed but they'd sit there talking about how much weed they're smoking etc and I'm getting a bit too old to click with people like that, so I'm sure I'm a bit to blame for being picky.

I know - without a doubt that if there was a LFG website for ESO that I would not have this issue. It beguiles me to this day that a real LFG web based system is not in place for this game. But for now, let's just keep waiting for text chat. It's going to greatly improve everyone's grouping experience.

Man, I wish you were on PS4 NA! I started on Xbox before a number of my PS4 buddies, none of whom play anymore lol, made me switch to the PS4 game.

I have had similar experiences to the ones you noted finding my way to where I am now. It is definitely a challenge to find the right people that you click with. I am with you on the getting too old for the "just how stoned can I talk about getting" conversations in gchat!

I think that text/zone chat on console will really help people get together. That, and a less random-type LFG tool or official app would be amazing.

Thank you for the response to my questions, and I wish you the best of luck in finding a good group of folks to game with regularly.

For World of Warcraft, there is a website called OpenRaid. It is a social website where people can set up groups, or where you can request to join groups for lots of stuff. You can schedule groups for that day, or you can schedule them for some day in the future. If you want to join a preexisting one, you can hop on and check the calendar on the website to see what events are coming up for that day, that week, or for the next month and then request to join the group. It's a really awesome tool for forming raid groups, and many of them run on a regular basis.

It's too bad ESO doesn't have something similar. Maybe one day one of the computer savvy members will create something like this.
