For me I would like to see a skill line/progression for one handed weapons only.
But I'd also like to be able to equip a variety of spells in my hands.
So i can throw lightning, fire etc from my bare hands (skyrim style)
How about you, what weapons would you like to see in ESO?

Basically... this. I'd love to have a single weapon/fencing skill line as well as "true" Elder Scrolls spells.Polearms/spears would be a nice addition as well.

But what are the actually chance of it happening?????????????

My guess is %0.01 it is essentially a Free to Play game as long as you bought the game. Even if they are its going to take awhile because money doesn't grow on trees.

Thought it would of been lower chance than that, more 0.0000000000000000000001%.
Also it kind of is the tree not quite growing on it on trees but, mainly trees from the Picea and Pinus families are used for paper.

You and your technical shenanigans! Its a saying lol. @Bearded_Gorilla
Personally that is one I would not exactly think makes much sense, since all "one-handed duelling" styles were never really intended for battlefield use but honor duels where there are that thing called "rules", and even the best duellists were likely to do -something- with their offhand in a real fight. be it grab a main-gauche for dual wield, or wrap their cloak around their offhand to use as improvised shield... not to mention all those fighting styles who had a ranged option wioth their offhand, be it a throwing knife or a flintlock pistol... (you can see where those considerations contributed to my above mentioned concepts, yes? )For me I would like to see a skill line/progression for one handed weapons only...
Chances? Maybe not the best... even though I for one would -gladly- pay extra if they gave me all my "wishlist" in an DLC...Bearded_Gorilla wrote: »Long ranged melee would (pole arms) be nice along with crossbows would be nice, with more skills over all for all lines. Still, as a certain pilot once said: "never tell me the odds"... we are here on the forums to convey our wishes and imaginations, the powers that be in ZOS will decide if they ever pick up an idea from here and make something of it.
That said, it -would- make sense for them to add -something- of the sort, to breathe new interest into the game for those who have already reached the "seenitall" point, and to keep the new ones from getting there all too soon... and new weapon skill lines that everyone could pick up and work on mastering would -just- be the ticket, since a great many players would just -have- to see how they could make a super-effective combo with those new skills, right?

CAT SWORDS!!!
My point is, "one handed" in medieval times generally meant "caught unprepared for the fight at hand". No matter if it was the noble drawing their broadsword to fend off an surprise assailant, or the archer forced to get their backup shortsword when someone got too close for their bow...Second, do you know nothing about TES? It's a game and one handed has always been a viable weapon skill choice, and it would completely make sense to have a skill line for it in ESO.
And third, if you knew anything about real world battles (which it seems you don't)
You will find that one handed weapon combat is actually a very real thing.
Example WW1 in which soldiers where using one handed trench digging tools to beat enemies to death.
Or even the recent Afghanistan cave raids where they used just brass knuckles with a blade attached.
