Faction and Guild Banners for Mounts

With guild tabards showing your allegiance to your faction or your guild, it's high time your mounts show off this pride as well.

Here's a concept of the banners on a wolf mount:

There are two types of banners: saddle banners and standing banners. Banners that show faction symbols, as shown above for EP, would be available for purchase at a siege merchant for so many Alliance points. Guild banners would be available for purchase from the guild store, the saddle banner being 5000 gold and standing banner 10000 gold.

In order to place these on your mount, there would be an appearance tab under mounts and allow either one or both under there. They can't be destroyed and would be linked to your account like costumes.

This is just an idea, but I hope you like it!

Yep. Would love it. I would actually like those Standing Banners as wearable flags for players.

I'd support this if there was an Imperial Stablemaster somewhere in the wild (one per alliance, in it's third of the map for easy access) that offered an Imperial one for either gold or AP.

I honestly miss the blanket we used to get when our Horse hit level 50. Guys? Is that coming back some day?

I was just thinking about something like this a day or two ago. Was day dreaming about marching through Tamriel as a guild with a few people carrying Guild Banners. Be cool to see it in PvP as well as it would look like armies moving around using their banners to signify their movements and friendly or foe.
