If your race has increased stamina or magicka your race can effectively out tank, out dps, and out heal any race that does not. Ever.

False. Example: Khajiit. Strongest race for Stamina NB DPS and does not have increased Stamina. B)

None the less has an increase in damage am I correct and i think imperials would jave a stronger dps due to a bigger stamina pool.

    Nope. 8% weapon critical.

EDIT: you're basically right, I'm just being nitpicky. :p

Its all good. I am just making statements based on observations. And pointing them out to see if anyone else feels like it is a problem mechanically.

Generally speaking your original statement is correct, which technically makes certain races sub-par some more than others.

Given damage is based off stat pool you're correct. Anyone know a good reason as of why?

If i was new to the game id assume it would be based off weapon/spell damage. It confuses me which one is more important, 1000 stam/mag or 100 damage.

1 WD is equivalent to 10.5 stamina. Substituting one for the other will do equal damage.

I do not necessarily think of this as a broken mechanic. Some people choose other races for niche type builds. For example, some people might choose Orc and sacrifice some max stats for the speed/reduced sprint cost. Other people may choose wood elf/khajiit for stealth passives on a gank style build, as opposed to Redguard. Others may choose Argonian to have increased swim speed, and sacrifice being competitive all together.

    Redguard Stam Sorc (PVP)
    Altmer NB (DPS)

    Redguard DK (DPS)

Lol. That's a great racial choice synopsis at the bottom.

If Substituting one for the other will do equal damage, this one wonders why some people choose to stack (obsess over in some cases) weapon damage over max stam. It seems like max stam would be more desireable if you have a choice between the two, because having more stam allows for having less recovery-- it fulfills two purposes at once. But I also heard somewhere that certains skills scale better with wpn dmg vs. max stam or vice versa? A bit off topic, but I'm curious non the less.

    1000 stam/mag and 100 spell/weapon damage are roughly equal.

Not everything is simple cut and dry DPS or tanking.... For example...

Stam DPS reguard vs Stam DPS imperial

I have both. Stam DPS redguard does better in trials due to max sustain from passives. Stam DPS imperial sits with a frigging 45k stamina pool and wrecks face in short fights like pledges.

    Bosmer vs Redguard

Bosmer has 21% sustain which is epic for my NB in PvP while redguard has more max stam and also has pretty good sustain making him better in PVE. For PvP its a matter of preference who you' like to use. Thyre both equally competitive.

    Dunmer VS Altmer

Focusing on primarily fire damage, dunmer would pull out on things like magDK while altmer has a more generic magicka bonus which works on a variety of toons providing flexibility and more sustain. Thyre both viable picks for mag DPS and both are equally competitive in DPS.

A slight problem only arises when you pick races with passives totally perpendicular to your build. Like a magicka DPS redguard.... With race changes coming you can easily fix this.
    (2)V16 Dk- stam dps/stam tank/mag dps
    (2)V16 Sorc- mag dps/stam dps
    (2)V16 nb- stam dps/mag dps
    (1)v16 temp- mag tank/mag dps

I think the champion points give biggest difference here but since I moved to Azura's campaign the damage one shots stopped and invincible builds did too. But racial passives still not my favortie choice of skill point allocation
