All the emails!

Help! All of the sudden I am getting emails and notifications about posts and boards I haven't even viewed. I checked my settings and nothing is amiss there. What is going on? I just got 23 emails in 5min. Help me please.

You should take some screenshots and submit a ticket. Also you could upload the screenshots here aswell. I never heard about this.

Did you uncheck all boxes, except maybe "Notify me of private messages" on your Notification Preferences?

It you are on a phone or tablet it is very easy to accidently click on the star at the end of the tittle when scrolling up and down through the list of post. This marks it as notify me whenever someone post anything at all in this post.

So look at the mails see what thread you are being notified on, then go to the post and make sure the star by the title aint gold. If it is click it to turn it off.

Sometimes I accidentally star/highlight a post, which results in notifications when someone posts. To fix it, I follow the link in the email and click the star to unfollow the post.

If you posted a question that's why. Report the thread and ask the mods to lock it.

If you answered a question posted and your respond was accepted that also is why

Check your settings as well as check what posts you've favorited

Thanks for the phone advice. Didn't realize that several posts were favorited because of crappy touchscreen phone controls.
