Assassin Class

I was reading that the Nightblade was the best class for Assassin. I wanted to make sure that this still the case due to not wanting to level a character up and finding out that it wasn't that case. Also I saw that there was cloaking, true or false? useful or useless? Thanks!

Yup, Nightblades are the Assassins (Stamina) or Illusionist (Magicka) of this game

And yes, there is Cloaking: 2.9 Seconds of invisibility that can be recast, one of the NB best skills and incredibly useful in PvP

Thanks for the quick response. Is there a certain race that works well with the assassin class.. I saw that the Khajit has increased stealth would that race be best or any other suggestions? Thanks again!

Bosmer (wood elf) are very good too. Check the passives on Google.

A lot of races work great:

- If you plan on ganking people, then Khajiit or Bosmer would be the best since they both have Increased Stealth Damage
- If you don't want to purely rely on ganking , Imperial or Redguard. Orc is pretty decent too
- If you want a Magicka Nightblade: Altmer, Breton or Dunmer

Bosmer and khajit are good as stamina NB. (PvP they are the no1 NB)
Altmer/Breton/dunmer are good as magicka NB.

Imperial and Bosmer are good as stamina/magicka or hybrid

Khajiit are one of the best for sure, but nothing is absolute. Bosmer and Redguard are good as well.
