When People I have personally witnessed cheating (hacking) this game aren't banned and are busy pvping (with probably the same hacks active)... Man, don't know what to say past "really?"

We've all seen this collection of cheats at work for a year... With their max damage unlimited sustain builds and their speed hacks and their speeded animation times.

It becomes known to most... and ZOS literally bans 40 people (and lets half of them back or more) and then is done with it all? We've heard nothing, the same cheats are back to what they do and the honest players are back to getting cheated.

Turns out they were right that ZOS can't detect those not doing outrageous things with cheat engine.

If true I'm unsubbing for good and done with PvP . I'll just free up a guild spot an go PvE . Play other games PvP .

1. Understand that there are cheaters in this game, and every game, but this game disproportinately to other games.
2. The people who make the game aren't doing much, if anything, about these cheaters, even though they have been reported hundreds of times.

Knowing this you can:

1. Accept this, keep playing the game knowing you are at an unfair advantage
2. Stop playing the game
3. Cheat yourself

I mean how many times are you going to tell these people the same ***? How many times are you going to beat that horse until you realize its dead?

I've seen the same scum that when you chase them they take off at faster than mounted speeds just still playing exactly the same.

I bet Reyals is back and someone posted a video of him so egregiously hacking this game it was comical.

Food for thought: I hear it's not even cheat engine that most of them are using, it's another memory editing program that only speed animations and run speed (so as to not get caught).

Ever thought, wow he hit me with 3 wrecking blows too quickly? Odds are that's exactly what and how he did it.

You know why they aren't? For the 38590328509285092850984509 time, they *** can't. They do not have the capability of finding out who is using cheat engine within normal variants until they put more server checks, which they won't do because of the lag situation.

How is this not understood? I mean they literally can't do the things you are asking them to do, even if you say pretty please with a cherry on top, it doesn't change their server client trust relationship.

ZOS should have posted the list of people banned, plain and simple. They also missed people that apparently not enough players reported.

Blizzard posted their list of cheaters in overwatch, permabanned, and caught and rebanned when those same players bought new accounts. It made gamer news. I wonder ZOS, if you made the news for your cheating situation, how do you think you'd fare against how blizzard handled it. Amateurs gonna amateur.

Oh it's still going strong, I even found out that a supposedly good player from my guild - as we all thought, can magically rolldodge through walls in IC (and no it was not shadow image, as none were ever placed and he directly noclipped through the wall as if there was none) and this happened repeatedly. Needless to say respect and any notion that he was actually "good" in the first place is gone and we reported him, but is he gone? Nah, still dodging and walking through walls and landing hits in ungodly short time frames that even the best of macros can't pull off, and I've seen some intense ani-cancelling macros in my 2 years of PvP, none of the past exploits and glitches compare to what we see now (except for bots and hacks seen at launch)

Well, he can't really, since that'd be naming & shaming, altho by checking the OP profile, you can find out which one he's referring to.

But while we don't get concrete proof (names censored on forums, original recording for Zos), people are innocent until proven guilty.

To be honest, if people could just stop trying to find excuses to dying, that'd be great. If you dislike dying to another player, stick to PvE...

@yodased Well said! I miss the days fighting you and your group on Haderus back in 2014 with my small group, good times.

Im in the same boat, Im not going to give folks the satisfaction. I like you have known folks have bene cheating all along, i just accepted it for what it is. Im just gonna shift more of my focus to the PVE side of the game which is very much fun and well done. PVP in this game for me is pretty much finished unless they add a VAC anti-cheat system or some sort of server side checks to the game, cheating wasn't as bad back then, but now its just gotten silly.

Since the devs are not going to do anything about it, no sense in beating that dead horse. Just play the parts of the game that are fun and ignore the aspect of the game where cheating goes on, soon enough they will have no one left to play with except other cheaters.
