Hardened ward for stamina build: how much weak?

If you tried a hardened ward (which scales with magicka) in a stamina build, around how much strength does the ward have? (you can compare with % hp. Ex: 5% hp, 20% hp etc...)

I am trying to know if is weaker than green dragon blood (33% of MISSING health), and how much weaker.

Depends. In PvP/cyrodiil, dragon blood is actually only 16% of your missing health.

In general, it's not going to be a very good shield for a stamina character. You'd be better off using bone shield.

On my Stamina Sorc Hardened Ward is like 4300 shield compared to my Magicka Sorc has 12,500 Empowered Ward. Bone Shield is roughly the same amount as Hardened Ward if you have at least 15,000 or more health.

I'd say the sweetspot for HW is 25k magicka with 20% on bastion star.

So yeah, you'd basically have to turn hybrid, with all the consequences.

About 4k from memory with no bastion, so between 1 and 2 light attacks.

Like already said, you'd have to invest something into Magicka for it to be worth it, but it's pretty easy to stack depending on race ect.

The only shield I have found even partially viable as a stam sorc is healing ward. I have run this as a solo build with some success. It works best in IC when you can surround yourself with adds to brawler spam if needed for additional survivability. I I run a vamp 2H/resto medium armor build.

On 2H, I have all my offensive skills:
- Dizzy Swing: main damage ability
- Crit Rush: gap closer with healing via crit surge
- Brawler: AOE damage and damage shield
- Reverse Slice: Execute
- Bound Armaments: slotted for heavy attack damage and stam regen passive
- Flawless DawnBreaker: best ultimate now for stam builds

Resto Bar was for buffs and survivability:
- Elusive Mist: Combo with Healing Ward to soak a lot of incoming damage, or hurricane for awesome mobility
- Healing Ward: Is actually a decent shield with proper CP investment, cast at low health with mist form for best survivability
- Crit Surge: was our main source of healing, now its just a secondary HoT
- Hurricane: decent AOE damage, with added survivability and mobility
- Bound Armaments: same as above
- Absorption Field; Oh *** button

I run this build with 5 hunding, 2 kena, 3 agility with random 2H/staff....vMA weapons would be best. With the nerf to crit surge, it is not nearly as strong as it was and there are far better PVP builds out there. However, with enough CP in shields (I use shield enchant on 2H also), you can weave brawler with dizzy swing to soak some damage while on the offensive and a well timed mist+ward can get you out of a tight spot, but be prepared to only use that combo 1-2 times.
