Guild Invitation??

Why is there no way to ask for an invitation to guilds in game? I'm looking for a trading guild and I see the same guilds week in week out in my home faction city, but how do I join them?

I've tried posting in the guild recruitment section but have had no luck so far.

Btw I need to be part of a trading guild, DC Xbox EU, my gtag is TheUrbanWizard, please invite me, I've got so much that I need to unload!

Sorry if this annoys members because it's in the wrong section (I know)!

Here is what I do if I want to join a trading guild. I look for members names in the listings in the Kiosks, find one that seems to have a decent amount of listings as I would assume they are active, and send them an email in game.

I have also joined my most recent trading guild through a recommendation from my main Social Guild.

There are also recruitment threads in the Guild Sections down at the bottom of the Section Listing on this forum.

@Nestor that idea hasn't occurred to me, I'll give it a shot.

The recruitment threads all seem old and I'd wager many of them are defunct now (from what I've seen anyhow).

I think it would be nice to walk up to kiosk and be able to ask for an invite; I always see the same guilds and think they must have a hot footfall; I just want to be part of the action!

I like the idea actually as sometimes, say you have loads of low level gear, you might want the trader in stonefalls and so on.

In terms of DC Trade, Xbox EU try the Tamriel Trading Company the GM GT is djantbowman I think, CraftMaster on here

On PC, people will ask in Zone Chat if anyone from X trading guild can invite them (and most members of trading guilds can invite to guild, so the person asking is very likely to get an invite if the guild has room and someone from that guild is online).

You could try doing that on area chat? You guys are getting text chat with the DB update, right?

No one really seems to know when we are getting text chat.

Messaging a person who has items up with 30 days left before the item expires is probably the easiest and most efficient way.
