Improving load time questions!

Hi guys,

As the title says load times seem slow. I have ESO on my second SSD (With 2 other games, GTA5 and WoW) and my load times seem pretty bad. I was wondering if I install ESO on the SSD that Windows 10 is installed on, will I see better loading times or will it not affect it?

It's worth noting I actually have a dual core CPU, a skylike i3 (I think i3-6300 off the top of my head) clocked at 3.8ghz stock. My rig is ONLY for casual gaming and I thought this high clock dual core would be the best bang for a micro ATX gaming build. Should I bother upgrading to the quad core i5 or i7 or is quad core still irrelevant for gaming? Money isn't really the issue here, it's keeping the PC cool and quiet in a (very) small case. Oh, graphics card is a GTX960.

tldr;
  • WIll upgrading CPU from i3 6300 to i7 6600k increase load times?
  • Will moving ESO from E drive (samsung 850 evo) to x drive (also samsung 850 evo) increase load times?

    Does not matter what drive letter it is on, as long as you have an SSD, that's good.

    Yes, the game is heavily CPU dependent. I have an I5-3750 or something like that, and my load times are nice and fast, and I rarely get in game performance issues that are not server related.

    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
