How to duel

So, since I can't talk directly (using the chat) with the opposite factions, what is the current code for "would you like to duel ?".

I tried jumping around them, marking them, gently bashing them, dodgerolling around them, but I seems to get different reactions then the one I'm looking for. More often it's like "ARGH, ASSASSIN! DIE DIE DIE! FRIENDS, COME, THERE'S AN ASSASSIN, WANT TO KILL US, EVERYBODY PLIS"... or they just wait until they're off combat to log out.

I did manage to get a couple, but I feel like I'm missing a very important piece of etiquette.

So... how to properly communicate that my intentions are pure and I seek an honorable duel, and I don't have a mob hiding in the shadows (well, I play DC in Asura's Star, that should be implied ._.) ?

The best way to make sure people know you want to duel is joining a duelling guild and comming to the duel spot when duels are up/ ask for people to fight in the g-chat.
Convincing someone in open world PvP, especially in populated areas (keeps lel), that you want to duel Is a next to impossible task.

You can directly talk to someone you wish to duel. You /w (their name) then a comma, then talk to them.

Ah, so, I can whisper someone from an opposing faction ? that's an important piece of information, nobody answered when I tried, so I thought it was disabled as well, thank you

Used to be dueling on the IC bridge but I don't really see that anymore. Not sure where the new spot is since I don't duel.

Target whisper add on just aim at the person, press bound key of your choosing and it will automatically open a whisper chat to him.

Mark? It seems you are a NB. The correct way to deal with an enemy player of the opposing faction is ;

1. Buff up
2. Stealth
3. Snipe
4. Hit ambush before snipe lands
5. Hit fear before target breaks free (at this point snipe and ambush have taken away about 50% of your targets life)
6. If you did step 5 correctly, now target will have a small delay before he is able to break free.
7. LA>SA>bash combo x2 + KBKBKBKBKBKBKBKBKBKB
8. Now your target is dead.
9. Teabag x 5 and cloak before his friends come

=D Jokes aside, normally I just block bash a few times and back away slowly while holing block. This normally results in a duel if the other player is up for it. If they are not, normally the just dont respond or gang up on you with their friends. Block bashing I feel most people are familiar with. Most people who react with the : ARGH, ASSASSIN! DIE DIE DIE! FRIENDS, COME, THERE'S AN ASSASSIN, WANT TO KILL US, EVERYBODY PLIS are people who have no intention of duelling you in the first place so no loss there.

block jump is generally accepted as the way to initiate a duel, but dont expect multiple players to oblige you cause theyll likely zerg you down
