Order of the Hour vs. Dark Brotherhood

From a lore standpoint, I would prefer to fight for the Order of the Hour on my Templar against the Dark Brotherhood. Of course my Nightblade loves the Dark Brotherhood.

Its not the Order of Akatosh its the Order of the Hour and they are mean.

Fixed. Yes, we are supposed to hate them but doing DB quests on my Templar seems just plain silly.

But yeah, many here wish there would be more choices, that those of our characters we want to roleplay as "goody two greaves" had an option to "join the other side" in some way instead of just sitting out the "criminal" DLCs...

this exactly, once you finish the quest line,nothing in the outside world has changed. sounds like skyrim when you defeat alduin. LOL

Just understand that while the Aedra are in favor, and the Daedra are not. And typically the Dark Brotherhood do ugly deeds from the shadows. Its not like the Order of the Hour have any true high ground. Its mentioned by common folk that the Order of the Hour has in recent time changed traditions regarding the worship of Akatosh, indicating theyre manipulating things for their own gain. Then theres also the fact that the Order has secret Spanish Inquisition style hearings in which they murder and or torture anyone not following their strict ideas of worship. Granted this information was gained by doing something youd be stoned/hanged/beheaded for in any location in the Aedric Worshipping Tamriel. But its a reminder that the Order are not the good guys.

It would still be nice to see such groups/organizations opened up for players to join/work for in the future. Its understandable that currently with the workload and the launch schedule it would be hard for them to do two sides of the coin type of content and instead focus on one thing or another.

My personal hope is that groups like the Morag Tong, Fate Bearers, Iron Wheel, Order of the Hour eventually become accessible. But I hope that at that point the game is fleshed out enough that your characters can have such varying methods of leveling that these groups would be One or the Other sort of deals. Where if you join the Order, you cant join the Brotherhood. Or if you join the Iron Wheel you cant join the Thieves Guild.
