Is it worth Keeps having outerwalls now ?

With so many using bugs/exploits/skills to bypass outer walls, is there any point in having them ?
I saw a 15-20 group up & over the outer wall of dragonclaw and go straight to siege on the inner main.
So many are just leaping onto the outer walls to attack defenders directly, then jumping/flying to the inner that it makes a mockery of any defence at times, not to mention the 'ambushers' just simply bypassing doors.

PvP is just too depressing right now - you either play honest and lose or cheat and win... apparently the cheats feel confident nothing will be done - heavens know why they feel that way what with ZOS and all their tough actions against cheating and firm clear positions about exploits...

We´ve been able to use skills to bypass walls since day 1 and still no fix for it. It's probably never gonna happen at this point.

These gap closers are ridic though, and someone should be slapped with a suspension for putting this crap in a "AAA" "MMO Game of the Year" (LOL)

Dam then just about every DK in the game has to be banned.

I actually don't mind people leaping into keeps so much tbh.

But they should definitely give scrolls the "Scroll Temple" treatment, in that if you get too close to it when the walls aren't down it's an instant death. And flags of course should continue to not flip at all unless the keep is flagged.

The jumping-inside-keeps thing was fine before, as it wasn't possible from EVERY DAMN SPOT like now. It actually took some effort to exploit.

Exploit without effort = boring.

Looks like this has now been fixed for at least Nightblades. From the patch notes today.

Nah, DKs have always had the ability if you stood in the wrong spot and didn't block etc.

NBs could get in with ambush at the precise time someone went through a door but I don't anyone who had the timing or luck to plan that... the couple of times it happened to me normally ended in being head stomped by all the defenders and NPCs unless I could run fast enough to get back out again

Right now it's a bit different with the broken gap closers plus what appear, from videos, to be levitation hacks.

Plus - just because you can cheat/exploit/whatever doesn't mean you should... you guys of all teams shouldn't need to use this sort of stuff to win... doesn't it take the fun out of winning?

True. But what is even worse is that everyone has alts on the other factions now that can share the same campaign, log on to their alts grab the scroll and walk it over to the enemy.

the whole things a crapshoot until they finally come out and say what was intended and what wasnt. dks can still do the exact same thing so is it suppose to be a dk only thing? was adding nbs putting a few too many ppl in keeps so it had to be changed? or is anyone leaping in keeps not intended but fixes are not working

They have said. Explicitly. Check out post #15. I even posted the link.

Problem is they can't easily fix it without breaking the skills even further. That's why they are taking so long to come up with something.

'Everyone' - our guild does not do that, we ask people to leave if they play another alliance... sometimes with regret but we won't support that stuff.

Obviously I use the term figuratively. The problem has become far more prominent since the restrictions were lifted.

BTW can you see if a Guildmate is on an opposing faction alt if they are in "offline" mode on the group pane?

Well they fixed the issue at the scroll temples by putting some kind of forcefield around it if the gate is closed. Why don't they do something like that with keeps?
