Murder victims' corpses hanging around too long?

I'm seeing a lot of corpses around lately. Great! Except that they're hanging around well after they return to the realm of the living. I imagine it must be somewhat unsettling to stand over your dead self...

Also, I visited Anvil for the first time and lol'd at all the corpses lying about.0
