Is there a way to unsummon your Familiar?

When I am in disguise my familiar will suddenly attack and I lose my disguise - so now I have to fight when I would rather not. Can I unsummon? Also, it says in the Cannefor that you can use its special ability to heal you and it for 35% of health. How do I trigger this?

✭✭✭✭✭So since the Thieves Guild patch (check the patch notes on here in another section) the pets work by pressing once to summon them and a second time to trigger their special ability. You can't unsummon to my knowledge. BUT if you only have the skill on one bar and switch bars they disappear.Xbox One | EU | EP

I haven't tried it but I looked at the code and it seems to be quite straight forward - provides two key bindings to dismiss your pets, one for each.
