They don't like gankers, sad truth that Zenimax , on teh Dark Brotherhood DLC, made assassination impratical in pvp.
Not to mention that a couple updates ago, they "Fixed" cloak to no longer be broken by single target dots. Apparently they broke it again on purpose because of the filthy casuals that not even sub or buy the dlc and cry because their glass cannon build from deltia's website gets 18k health and is one-shot.

Also the amount of times, where you can go back to stealth (in other games) was severely limited, as 'wiser game developers' felt how unbalanced it would be, to have classes, who can appear and disappear in battles infinite times.. which is per se inbalanced...
This is what is wrong about ESO!
That is why you might want to slot purge, and yes, before stealth you need to purge. Before ESO, I knew not one MMORPG with a "vanish + REMOVE all damage sources" one-button skill. For me, that sounds like the definition of imbalanced! Of course, one of a hundred of examples about what went wrong in ESO..!
