Maelstrom weapons Enchantment?

Did the Maelstrom weapons got buffed like the normal enchantments? if yes then nvm, if NO! so give me a good reason to farm it again with so much frustration, and the weapon has less dps than the normal. except for staves, and 1 handed I know the echants was to OP for them, I'm only using 2H axe and hammer.
