It's the defense tics at a resource they're looking for . They can kill them over and over and get more that way .
Yes unfortunately it is allowed .
I just don't get why people do competitive gameplay at all, if they intend to cheat in the first place - this defies the whole purpose of a competition, if it is rigged from the very start. How can someone be proud of something like that at all?

The days of sportsmanship have long sailed my friend . There's not many left . Now a days people think cheaters and hackers are the heroes ... "He hacks so he must be cool like NEO in the matrix" , or "he's a rebel like Brad Pitt in fight club" It's all backwards now .
So I blame Hollywood and bad parenting . But mostly Keanu Reeves

for those that are super ultra nooby, boosting = letting someone else constantly kill you for points

@Lysette
Is that a Fallout NV quote I see?

Can you pull up where they say boosting is a valid form of getting EMP?
I'm pretty sure they are just ignoring it hoping it will go away...
Why do the players have to force ZOS to implement ways to weed out the cheaters???
