Auto loot from containers bugged?

Was doing writs last night and had to manually loot every writ reward bag, they don't just give me the items on click

What happened to auto loot from containers? My auto loot option is on

Is it bugged??

Yes, auto looting from containers isn't working. I and several guild mates have reported it, I hope it will be fixed soon.

Opening a container from your inventory will now always display the contents of that container, even if you have auto-loot enabled

That's from the patch notes. I was chatting on Reddit though with someone, does the R "take all" option also not work? I understand it doesn't autoloot so we can see what's inside, but if the take all button doesn't work that part sounds like a bug.

Thanks @MissBizz , I had missed that in the patch notes. I hope they reconsider this change. It has added a significant irritation to doing writs. The "take all" does work, but also unflags the other containers as new. Instead of being able to open 6 containers with 6 clicks, you now have to open one, "take all", scroll to find the next one, open "take all", scroll down, etc. etc.

Making things more complicated by design seems like a bad decision. I can't imagine that people were asking for this.

Why would they change the auto loot option to not do what it's designed to? If you want to see the contents before looting then turn auto loot off...I want to auto loot so I don't have to stop and look at everything on the way.

This is another thing in a growing list that will *** me off playing after the update. ZOS really needs to rethink their ideas.

I turned off Auto Loot because of Containers. I wanted to see what was in the container before I looted it. I actually like the change, it does not take all that long to hit R or even the individual items I may want.

I do think it should be toggle like Auto Looting Stolen items is.
