Daily limit on Abah's Watch motif drops? [EDIT: No, no there is not a limit]

I think that's my 20th repeatable quest from the tip board today, and I've only gotten a single motif chapter. Yes, I made sure to get the top-tier reward. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone getting two in the same day?

EDIT: Can confirm with the rest, there is no limit, just a fairly low drop rate. Seems about right for a quest that's so easy to farm.

I did over 15 yesterday and didn't got a single one the drop rate must be less than 2%.

No, I was just not planning on spending so much time doing further TG quests every day once I've already gotten a motif page if there is indeed a 1-per-day cap. Does that make more sense for you?

Yeah of course. There isn't exactly another method to get it except buying off of other people, and I usually save that until I get monumentally bored. A little grinding until then isn't awful.

Well I can't talk. I'm lurking the forums whilst fishing in Coldharbour, so to each their own. I just don't know how you do it. Grinding drives me batty after a while. Then again, I'm currently trying to see around this Argonian quest giver who won't get out the way of my damn fishing hole. I keep talking to her on accident.

Do Khajiit have hidden bonus for luck?
I did 28 repeatable quests since DB release, got 4 motif chapters.
It does not looks like a drop cap, just another RNG farming.

I wish! My Khajiit only found one page so far, and I'm pretty sure I did over 1 million quests. Ok, maybe it only felt that way, but it was definitely more than 30. So we'll split the difference and say the drop rate is 1 out of 500,015.

It's just RNG.

One day, I got six pages from farming the Delve boss for 4 hours.
The next day I spent another 4 hours and got only one.

It's just the luck of the draw.

personally I do not see how people spend time fishing in this game. It is one of the most boring experiences I can imagine. As you said, "to each their own"

i did 30+ daily quests in 24 hours only got 1 abah's leggins thats all zos please increase the drop chance

Got the bow motif out of the first box, since then at least two dozen of nothing. Certainly could be a daily limit, as I opened them within less than 24 hours. I'll try again tonight, but if it doesn't get better, this grind is ridiculous. Especially with all the damn loading screens inbetween ...

I ran jobs for 6 hours and got 4 Abahs watch motifs. No daily limit, just really low drop rate.

Cracked another 12 boxes, no motif. This droprate is way too low compared to similar boxes (Trinimac, Malacath, Thieves Guild). I get it's a repeatable and not a daily quest, but how many repeatables do you expect people to run each day? 20? 50? 100?
Please reconsider this. It's not fun.

Edit: Planned to crack another 8 this morning after I was sure the supposed 24h timer was reset. First box I opened, I got the Staves motif.
I suspect there's something to this daily limit, and I'll hoard some boxes to test further. I experienced similar results with other reward boxes, so there might be something to it.

I have one motif so far and I run 1 per day... so I've only run 3 or 4 of them with a single character. That would equate to a 25% drop rate for me.

I'm wondering if your chances seriously decrease if you run it a second, third or more time in the same 24 hour period?? Would love confirmation of this ... or not... I don't plan on doing more than one per day at this moment until I know more

There is no limit, the drop rate is just very low (around 5% I would say).

The fastest way to farm these is to repeat the covetous countess quest. If you do this, you will spend more time in loading screens than playing, so you better prepare an off-side activity while you do this

Can confirm, no daily limit, just very slow to get. I finally finished mine, though, super exciting!

The new motifs have only begun dropping as of the Dark Brotherhood DLC, so you might have just not been doing them at the right time! Or you aren't doing enough! Don't lose heart!!

Dwemer motifs have a 1hr cool down (fact). Try leaving it an hour.
