Critical chance and critical damage

Makes sense? i have a NB i tried to focus in these 2 stats but i dont see big numbers or damage...

what im doing wrong?

how much is your Critical Chance
how much CP are in critical damage
your skills

Only focusing on chance to crit and increased critical damage isnt nessessarily the bestapproach. It's also important to buff your base damage as higher base damage also gives you "bigger numbers".

If you look at the CP System for example, you have Mighty which increases your base damage and Precise Strikes which increases your Crit Damage.

Lets say for the sake of the argument, you have 50% increase crit damage, a Surprise Attack deals 10k Damage, Crit 15k.

1 Point in mighty increases your base damage py 1%, 1 Point in Precise Strikes increases your Crit Damage by 1%.

1 Point in Mighty: Surprise Attack now deals 10100, Crit 15150
1 Point in Precise Strikes: Surprise Attack now deals 10000, Crit 15100

As you can see, by buffing your base damage, you did get higher non crits as well as higher crits.

How are you measuring your DPS? Unless you are doing at least semi-accurate tests you may not notice any change in regular fights with small changes due to the large variability in fights.
