Dark Brotherhood failure!!!!

I do love the dark brotherhood, alot but where are the quest? u get one main quest each lvl, and u have 2 daylies and one repetable. is there something i dont see? no public dungeons eather and those two normal dungeon are to small.

Orsinium was ok for a "small" dlc, u could do alots of quest, dungeons, repetable, public, world bosses etc.

Thief guild and Dark Brotherhood are the heart of Elder Scrolls and we get like nothing? cause u need to do so much repetable to lvl up skill line to get new main quest u forget what its about?

Did Zos forget to put in dungeons and more quest givers?

anyway, i do love the way u handle your self as a member of the Dark Brotherhood...

*smh* ZOS isn't here to spoonfeed you the quests. The quests are there. Sometimes you have to do something to trigger the quest, such as teleporting to a certain wayshrine. I did all the quests when we had the character copy on the PTS. It can be done.

You repeat the same stupid daily quests ad nauseam until you unlock the next major DB quest. It sucks.....we know....

u think i did not explore the gold cost? and if i jump to bankorai at a random wayshrine i could get a DB quest?

The quest u can get inside DB are too few.

Unfortunately for the main DLC quest line you have to be in the appropriate Dark brotherhood skill level (same as TG DLC). I said "unfortunately" because i think most of us don't like to be forced to do repeatable quests to progress in the main story, maybe if there was some variance in that.

That's what OP's saying, I guess. In a few words, the main story chain quests become activated once you raise up your skill line with the dark brotherhood guild and that is 1 quest per level.

They should plan atleast one DLC an year like Orisinium (which is a master peice)...

Thieve Guild is boring and I Never bother, DB need to play first on PS4..

On a positive note, you can make reasonably good gold fencing the loot from all the people you kill during those DB missions. Plus the increase to your ledgermane skill.

But was not the same mechanics used for the fighters and mages guilds, kill deadra and undead to level then get your next quest and look for lore books to level to get your next quest?

The Thieves Guild was better in that there were several different repeatable quests so you could switch what you were doing if it got boring whereas with Dark Brotherhood, there's only the kill an NPC quest and the Sacrament quest (which can only be done once a day) unless I'm missing one.

agree with this, i actually dont mind the repeatble, its fun....but only for about couple first quest, after that it become mind numbingly redundant

I thought the fighter and mage guilds were locked by actual level not guild levels? But i did them as i played through the game so maybe I just got enough guild levels as i went through the game. And the last time i did them was a long time ago so maybe they changed them.

mage and fighters guild gives u quest on each zone and if u are like lvl 15 when u hit greenshade u need to lvl up to lvl 25 or something to get the quest. and this is fine, the problem with thiefguild and dark brotherhood is that u dont have any other options to lvl up the skill line. u dont have any other quest to do, just this borring repetable and once a day u get 2 other quests.

at least they should give you more repetable at the same time. so u dont need to go gill one npc, go back and hand in and grab a new one. then 20 sec later u just do the same again? no fun at all. yeah u get some gold. but i really dont play for gold :disappointed:

A small scale dungeon added to the roster of killing X civilian would be nice. Similar to the steal the pipe quest at the end of the dungeon for TG, you could just spawn a random npc (or use already placed ones like the mini bosses) that could be killed (with the blade of woe?) at the end of a public dungeon. Adding these the "book of the dead" in DB with a higher reward than normal would at least add another layer to the boring fetch and kill quests the book offers now.

Just an idea I had, and seeing as those bosses are already in the public dungeons I can't see it being to hard to implement for variety.

Just a question, no pun intended with it - why do you want to rush through this DLC?- You will get there over time, no need to grind these kind of things. The dark brotherhood is going nowhere, you don't have to hurry with it. It is just boring, if you do that over and over and over again and grind it - I doubt that it is intended to be played like that. It is you who makes it actually that way, due to the way, in which you approach this content. Think about it.

This is my point, i dont want to grind on repetable quest. i want to have other options, like more quest to progress, this dont mean it should be MAIN quest but just a regular quest u get from random npc. but there is no other quest. you are doomd to grind......
