ESO has always seemed very unresponsive to me, even when accounting for ping. I average 90-110 ping, so it isn't that bad, but there was always a pronounced delay in casting spells, assuming they'd cast at all. I took up spamming the cast buttons to assure the spell is used. I've noticed this since beta, and while I'm usually more observant of such things than most people, I'm sure I'm not alone.
I've noticed a huge change since the DB update. Every spell I cast seems to fire off as quickly as I can press the buttons. It seems more responsive than ever. That is except for ultimates, which are apparently bugged and decide not to cast half the time. I've played long enough post-patch to verify that this isn't just a fluke. My spells always cast and there is no pronounced input delay.
I of course can't prove that this is happening but I'm certainly feeling a difference. The only real piece of sort-of-evidence I have is that my sustain was fine pre-patch and is absolute garbage post-patch, with no listed notes that could account for it. I can only assume I'm just getting more spells out.
I know there was a change to animation prioritization but I'm not sure if that applies to what I'm seeing. I'm just curious if anyone else has noticed this.
