Wow. I haven't seen bots for years! The cheat engine is still chugging along then.
Were you in the regular, silver or gold version of rivenspire?
Has anyone ever seen bots in cyrodil?
Damn! I haven't heard talk of bots in a long time. @ZOS_JessicaFolsom Do you mind looking into this?

Cheat Engine issue is not resolved
I reported on two players just a few hours ago, they were speed hacking and using too much ultimate.
Also, one of them had a crazy health regen, it looked like 10k, no matter how close to death he got, he didn't die.
Though I have not seen a bot in the last few days.
Are you sure they're bots and not just regular farmers getting the best bang for their buck? Let's not go witch-hunting just because of the recent cheat scandal.

I am sure.
They all followed the exact same path within milliseconds of each other, every time they moved it was in a direct line and complete right angles, a human player does not move like that, all the bots used the same skills in sequence for each mob in repeat, none of them replied to zone chat or whispers, occasionally the bot route would get messed up due to changes in mob spawn times, the bots would get split up slightly, eventually the bot train would get spread in a line and one of the bots would die, when they did die to something a human player would never die from if they had half a brain and could press one key, they would instantly within a split second port to nearest wayshrine with no time delay from death to shrine, then run back the exact same line of sight and route and continue the pre programmed farm bot train. Sometimes the bots would hold position all on the exact same spot for say 10-15 seconds to allow for all bots to "catch up" with each other, this was probably put it to allow for errors in the bots to self correct themselves and allow for 100% afk automatic use of the bots.
There is more I could go on for a while but I think that covers most of it.

This some of the footage khajiit took in those early days for those who were not around.
Within a month or two they did seem to have a good handle on the issue and the sort of botting shown here had mostly gone.
It seems now maybe someone somewhere has found new loopholes to abuse.
