broken quest- trial of mind rift

Hello, unsure if this is the correct forum to post this in but I have encontured a bug with the quest trial of the mind in the rift. in the second riddle you are asked to collect water from the lake and attempting to do so by filling your sack, nothing happens. repetivly attempting to do so will end in the message "item is not ready yet" is this an issue that is currently being looked into? multiple players are reporting the same problem within the zone

Hmm, I just did this quest a couple of weeks ago and no issues. Wonder if it is because of the patch.

Have you tried abandoning the quest and picking it up again? I would say do a relog first, but you probably logged off the game to post this, so see what happens first when you get back in.

Part of the reason why this may have happened is these items tend to have a cool down timer on them, and if you activate it before your in place to use it, the timer starts counting, even though nothing happened, which is why waiting 20 seconds or so usually sorts this, not always, but often enough.

I just ran into this issue on ps4. I tried restarting and samething.

I ran into the same issue yesterday evening with trials of the mind on PS4. I could never gather any water in the sack. Tried to abandon the quest and restart. Still did not work.

This quest is NOT completely broken. However, the bag does not work on its own.

What you need to do is stand in the water, with the prompt to press A or E or whatever, open your inventory, go to Quest Items, highlight the bag, and click "use" from there. It will then work.

I had to do this with another quest. Thanks I will try this.
