An excellent suggestion that can make Nords more viable in PvE

The Nord Passive Resist Frost currently provides
  • 2079 Cold Resistance
  • 9% Max Health

Suggestion

1)Change Name to Hearty

2) Change passives to
  • +X% bonus to meals and drinks
  • 9% Max Health

This will give Nords a sustain bonus in a round about way.

Since rebalancing racial passives were mentioned, I hope you'd consider this @Wrobel

    Change it to this:
    15% Max health
    6% physical resistance.

They are born to be tanks.

Believe it or not Racial Passives were made to center around who they are, not what they can do. Removing a Nord's resistance to the Cold is like removing them from Skyrim entirely...

    But still very frosty humans:

    - Morrowind: Resist Frost 100%
    - Oblivion: Resist Frost 50%, Nordic Frost Power
    - Skyrim: Resist Frost 50%

Interesting, but its of no use in TESO battles especially in PvP and Dungeons, where fire is the main thing that is used by players and bosses.

Not the point. Point is racial passives are meant to relate to the race via lore, not be designed solely for min/maxing.

If anything Zenimax should make more enemies use ice, and give players more ice abilities. Ice is WAY too scarce compared to fire and lightning. Probably the strongest ice user in the game is the Mad Ogre, but who knows there may be others...

I guess, resistance to frost and immune to snare's that are done by frost damage.

Maybe it's not useful, but that's how Nords have been defined in TES games since the beginning: warrior folk living in the frozen lands of Skyrim

They always had a Resist Frost racial, and during the time of Morrowind and Oblivion they had a Shield spell too. So it's only natural that in this game they have similar abilities.

If ZOS chooses to update them, they should receive a Ultimate Gain racial. Since in Skyrim Nords had a Battlecry ability, Ultimate Gain could be seen as something similar in ESO. It's the most fitting IMO and would mke then the best DK Tanks out there

Yeah I wouldn't have anything against them adding snare resistance.

They can easily move the frost resistance with rugged in order to keep lore friendly. Let's be real though, that frost resistance isn't worth having 3% less health for.

3% less health based on what? Choosing another race for a passive that gives more? Well by all means do that lol and those who choose to be a Nord to be a Nord will continue to do so.
