Thoughts of a new player about ESO

Greetings,

As a veteran mmorpg player who played several of them in the past 10 years here are my thoughts about ESO. Mind you I played the game for about 40 hours. You may think my hours played are too few but in my opinion this amount of hours played is where the players generally decide to continue to play the game or not.

Firstly, I think ESO is really underrated. The game is very enjoyable for a solo player and I guess it is a lot for better for friends playing together. Here are pros and cons in my opinion:

Pros

-Character customization (You can make hundreds of different character builds, use the abilities you want, just be who you want to be.)
-No forced subscription (You can subscribe to get rewards and such but it is not vital in any way, the game is not definitely pay to win from what I have seen.)
-Questing (The main story does not seem special in any way but the quests in the zones are single player rpg quality. Questing is really fun and does not feel like grinding.)
-Public dungeons, dark anchors (They may get repetitive over time but still I like to discover them. These are gems for completionists.)
-Crafting (Is actually fun and unique rather than being a chore. I like the fact that you can craft things in different styles.)
-Atmosphere (I am not an Elder Scrolls fan, only played Skyrim for a few hours. Still the atmosphere really sucks you in and makes you want to learn its lore by reading books and listening to npcs when playing. All speech is voiced and this adds a lot to the game's atmosphere.)
-Justice system (Thieving and murdering is different and fun to do. But maybe the system might be improved a little bit. Something feels off but I cannot name it.)
-Combat (Blocking, dodging, soft targeting are all great. A lot better than traditional mmorpgs. It helps getting you into the game. Resource system is well thought.)

Cons

-Responsiveness (Not really sure about this. It is not bad but sometimes it feels clunky. I have seen better responsiveness in other games.)
-UI (Easily fixable with addons. But still we cannot see what our buffs are and what do they mean. It should be improved, especially for new players who does not have a lot of knowledge about the game.)
-Inventory space (This is a cons for me. I know you can improve it and subscribers get a crafting bag but still not enough. Exploration is a big part of the game and there are tons of crafting items and food. My bags get full too quick even though I try not to loot everything.)

There might be some other pros or cons which I forgot. But overall the game is really good and friendly for solo players. As you can see, the cons I have mentioned are not a big deal.

P.S: English is not my first language. Apologies for grammar.

Yeah, agreed. I always wondered why the basic bag space was pretty low, considering the amount of loot that drops.
