Is this attack possible without using the CE?

Just got hit by this guy who has been suspected of cheating before the bans where handed out but he is still around, I cant name and shame but what do you think of this?
This guy is well known and talked about in zone AD chat. I dont want to submit this if it looks legit.

Surprise attack is a very easily spammed skill for Nightblades; don't see anything that stands out in this Death Recap that could be considered exploiting/cheating/etc.

It looks not only legit, but rather unimpressive as well. I mean, i've seen WB hitting for over 10k, some 15k+ heavy attacks, and I know even those are legit.

Unless these attacks all occurred so fast as to ignore the global cooldown, it's just you losing a fight to a nightblade...

Yes. Keep in mind that the death recap does not list every skill that hit you, nor does it keep a perfect chronological order. You would need a video or at least a combat log that shows incoming damage with time stamps to have a chance to see anything thats not legit.

And your armour value - Surprise Attack adds major fracture (the big armour debuff), couple that with sharpened weapons + CP in the right place and you have much less defence.

My question is can a person do 5 surprise attacks in less time than it takes them to come out of stealth at a relatively low population, so low lag, time of day? I've also witnessed them do it 6 times, the only times I've ever actually seen them in Cyrodiil. It's always seemed quite fishy to me.

This is big problem now. We will see cheat accusations flying left and right for literally nothing. I mean like @Asmael said this is even bad dmg. What would you said if nb ganked you from stealth in 1 sec? It is possible and legit.
I dont mean to insult you or something but please first learn the game mechanic and even than think twice before starting thread like this.
And yes NB can spam SA, just like any other class can spam spamable attacks

Dont know but it was fast, I cant tell if it is ignore the GCD as you say.

With all due respect this is why I put it here...too learn, you see I didn't submit it before getting others opinions, I dont want to submit legit attacks , but with this CE crap, how do we really know if someone is just cheating "a Little bit"?

It looks legit, the soul harvest stuns you for a few critical seconds, then he spams SA until you're dead. Somewhat unimaginative but certainly possable.

The problem we're going to have now, is everytime someone gets killed by a process they're not familer with, the first response will be "This person is cheating".

There is zone chat, guild chat, friends ingame that could answered you easily to this. When there are to many cheat threads on forums is just encouraging witch hunting.

Ya thats right, you can thank those using the Ce for that, now everyone is suspect.

Make a vid, human perception of time when ganked is quite distorted to say the least (time is relative to the observer).

ShadowPlay if on PC with a nvidia graphic card. You should have something on Console as well (don't remember the name since I don't play on console). Remember that a GCD is around 0.86-0.9 seconds, if the first SA starts at 0 (coming out of stealth), it takes only 3.44 second for a fifth attack to land*.

Also, if you're on PC, you might be interested in getting a combat addon to have combat logs, these usually keep track of the time between each attacks, considering some attacks can still land at the same time (e.g Snipe into ambush), so the best thing to compare is twice the same ability in a row.

* Timers as shown (GCD = 0.86 second):
0.00 - attack 1
0.86 - attack 2
1.72 - attack 3
2.58 - attack 4
3.44 - attack 5

Yup is possible.

that death log also shows you whats wrong with this game. Those 4 and 6 k attacks are really 8k and 12k attacks if done in PVE land, the fact such damage can be easily spammed against someone mostly in Heavy Armor with well ovver 30k Resist shows you how broken and useless heavy armor still is.

the Sharpened Trait and all weapon Traits that increase Armor or Spell Penetration need to be removed from the game completely, and any Champion System points or passives that increase Spell of Armor Penetration need to go, Adjust PVe mobs if need be, but its too easy to negate all of someones Armor and this is unbalanced when Armor and Spell Resists have hard caps on them and max stats and damage doesn't....

Like someone mentioned you need timestamps to really know.

With all that has been revealed the decreasing of animation time (well the increasing of the speed of it, same thing) is probably the biggest hack of it all.

These turds increasing their regen, dodge chance and all that is bad... but, people have been seeing this speeded attacks for a while.

If it felt off, like he was attacking you at a rate you don't feel is possible... it's probably not possible without the cheat engine. The problem with asking for advice is that every one of these turds using these hacks will say "animation cancelling" or "lag". You might note that not even the craziest liar is claiming these hacks aren't in use, but you might also take note of the fact that past Z no one is admitting to it and they are all innocent.

I agree with your posts when regarding cheaters. I've experienced it but starting forum thread about anything that you are not sure of and while you still dont have high knowledge of game is counterproductive.

Just now i got tell that i will be reported for cheating cause i killed the guy from stealth in 1 sec

Best advice if you think someone is cheating make video and when you sure report him

The global cooldown is 1 second per instant dps ability cast. Surprise Attacks cannot be used more than once per second without a hack.

Do keep in mind that you can weave heavy/light attacks between skills, which can make the combat seem faster, although your screenshot does not show any weaves. That is suspicious to me.

Might want to let they guy know that Soul Harvest and Surprise Attack is a bit of a faux pas now. Should be Incapacitating Strike and Surprise Attack. Plus he should try weaving some light attacks in there as well.

heck, I've been hit by a 27k+ heavy attack in TG patch. Followed up by an 11k+ surprise attack.

Problem with the in game recap is that it does not show timers to let you know if someone is bypassing the global cool downs. Videos and addons pretty much going to be the only way to get any kind of proof and even then you will get a lot of "its lag" type of responses.

Unfortunately the only ones who can really tell who is cheating will be ZOS themselves and community faith in them is kind of low right now. Until they can give legitimate proof that they have a handle on these cheat programs there will be a lot of accusations and counter accusations. Best thing would be for people to assume others are not cheating and only report the super obvious cheats (like we saw over the weekend).
