Quests: 25/25: Enough ???

With all of these DLCs, I have 25/25 quests - meh.

I tend to pick up a few quests while solo-ing in various DLCs, then when mates are online and don't have those DLCs we tend to do other stuff.
Oh and I pick up a few more quests because I can... I do eventually go back and complete the quests, however more recently I have to abandon quests.

I am finding 25 a bit shy.

Is there an option to increase the max number of quests? (Similar to the max number of characters; via crown store?)

No, it is insufficient - needs to be increased to 30 or 35. I've been saying that since before TG and the situation is getting worse!

Try finishing some of them? Or abandon and return to that area later?

I support this message. In addition to extra quests capacity, more control over quest details would be nice. as an example, having the ability to select which quests actually show in your tracker would be nice (like check-boxes in the journal window).

But more capacity is a must. in a game that has so many options for questing now, we need more capacity to hold and manage those quests.

Also don't make my tracked quest reset on every login - that really annoys me that I can log out with whichever quest I am working on selected, and when I log back in it is showing me something in Craglorn or Cyro as my currently tracked quest.

Agreed and I don't believe there is an add-on for this.

I'd be happy if at least the PvE, Dungeon/Trial, and Cyrodiil quests all fell under different lists. The times I have problems keeping it under 25 is when I start diversifying what I do in game - which is fun but becomes a quest management nuisance.

I would love to see the quest limit raised. It is way too easy to hit 25, especially if you are doing writs daily. I need to keep 6 slots always open for writs so can't actually have more than 19 quests. Like someone mentioned, if you're doing a lot of different things with your character (writs, PVP, and PVE), the quests stack up faster than you can complete them. Even raising the limit to just 30 would help.

Nice idea; possibly group quests in tabs, similar to how the inventory groups various items.

    it IS enough.
Either pick no other quests and do a lot that you have, or just delete them.
No need for a 100 unit quest amount.
Even if they double it to 50, it will take you a week, and you're back here nagging because your list is full.

It's not a game issue, but a player issue.

I do go back and do those quests, as well, I pick up the dailies I don't do just so the darn quest marker goes away in towns.

Went there, raced through them, now my list has like 6 quests left...

    It surely is enough.

Nobody works on 24 things at the same time. Nobody.

But no, they'll make an unlimited quest bag for ESO+ instead of just making the main story, writs, and DLC quests not count toward cap so people don't have to factor those in when prioritizing what is already an unrealistic work load.

Since you are so against it, can you please explain how it would hurt your gameplay in any way if it were increased to 30 or 35 to accommodate the rest of us who are in favour of an increase? Because I can't see how that would impact on you in the slightest.

Honestly speaking I didn't get to near 25 either, are you also playing DLCs?
Until I started playing DLCs with various groups, my quest 'inventory' became fuller a lot quicker ;-).

I am always near maxed out in quests - I get distracted easily when travelling around Tamriel helping everyone out and forget to go back and finish things. I really would like it to be higher too.

25 quests limit is not enough.
A limit of 50 or 100 quests is needed.
I'm abandoning quests a lot due to the 25 quests limit.
I'm working on many quests of different zones and DLCs rather than stick to one zone quests.

I believe the base game needs to change so the quests limit will increase.
Everyone should have the same quests limit.

I don't have an opinion one way or another on this, I can see both sides of the argument. However, one answer to your question is likely to be the standard answer in this kind of situation - it would involve diverting scarce developer resources away from more pressing matters and at the risk of introducing additional bugs and performance issues. That's why many players are opposed to things they don't personally want or need, they'd prefer the developers to be concentrating on things they do want or need.

To the guy saying blah blah it's enough for 1 zone

Ya, but you realize people are talking about pledges, bounties, cyrodiil dailies, thief dailies, and now db dailies which, mind you, if you didn't finish yesterday you can still finish and then get the next day's daily if you didn't abandon. When you have most of the content dailies, this alone is close to 20 quests, not including writs.

So in answer to your opinionated zealousness, I would retort that yes 25 is enough to quest through your newbie zone, silver, and gold with. However, the quest structure is different at end game and when you reach level 50 you will begin to understand how it is different.
