Kuta drop rate increased?

In the last week I have collected around 20 Kutas on one character alone. I have gotten 5 this morning from farming in Craglorn. Do they change the drop rates on materials in game? Prior to this week I was lucky to find one from harvesting nodes once a month.

i have found one in the wild in the last three months. none in surveys. but i have gotten two from my hireling and i get 2-3 a week from turning in writs.

Maybe it has something to do with the changes made to enchanting nodes with db dlc.

Probably fixed something broken if anything.
It could farm 1-2 kuta in 1-2 hours in craglorn at one point.
Then it just stopped. Never received anything since.
That was a couple of months ago.
One of the reasons I hardly play anymore as I needed gear upgrades.

There are frequent threads moaning about low drop rates. The answer for them as well as OP lucky streak is the same: RNG.
When the lucky streak breaks, no more Kuta for OP for a loooong time.

Got a Kuta as writ reward two times this week. Also had the luck to draw two Kutas from one node with Plentiful Harvest.
Probably the RNG deities will not favor me again next week...

So you've saying that its all random but that once he stops being lucky that the RNG isn't going to be random anymore but will instead not allow him to get anymore for a long time? Seems a bit contradictory.

I just think the number generator is a little wacky with this game, you get two or three in a day and then dont see one for a week.

I was hoping the drop rate was being increased prior to the release of DB. I usually get a few a week from both hirlings and as writ rewards. This week I have found more from random nodes than I have in the past year.

The Plentiful Harvest champion passive seems to help a lot with the new runestone system. Today I got a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 8 runestones from each node. Yes, there were some kuta in there too.

Do the Enchanting Daily writs if you want Kuta's.

Ive maxed Enchanting on 3 chars, on average I get like one Kuta each day.

I think the second new runestone I picked up at The Gold Coast was an instant Kuta. Weee.
