We have issues of people queuing up as tanks or healers that can't even perform either of those roles so they can get groups faster, are you certain you want trials where the tanks and healers aren't what they say they are? There are times when the "tank" is just a V16 high output DPS that maintains threat by doing the absolute most damage then kites around the room, it works out in most dungeons, but do you want someone like that randomly joining your trials group?

Yh why not I'm just here for the fun I don't really care how other fellow gamers choose to play there game.
Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose but atleast I would have the option.

They all use to be in the finder but after lots of questioning, when ZOS raised VR from 12-14 and then 16 it stopped working.

Seems they don't have a real plan either cause what we are doing now is crazy.
As the comment above remarks some very concerning obstacles, we may also be discussing VR to CP scaling in a week or so as to the success or misunderstanding of the changes.

For Trials tho, I would much rather like a queue system that's resembles a sign up calendar with invites, apply to join and accept, declines.

This would just be awesome on consoles but also on PC too.

Just imagine that the game had a calendar inside with trials and events to sign up for (cross faction) for dungeons, trials, etc custom events for up to two weeks out.

Simple, program a role lock for all random veteran dungeons/trials.

    Example-

Let's say, the minimum DPS required for a specific vet dungeon(as a DPS) is 10k.(Based off of a general stat census that ZOS has possession of).
If your toon is averaging 9,999 DPS or under, you cannot join. Let's say that player wants to tank a trial, let's say the minimum health required is 35k(just example), if that player has less than required, they cannot join that role either. Too many newbies having the "gamers pipe dream" of wanting to be the best or to try the hardest difficulties, without properly prepping themselves to do so.

"Freedom of choice bro!". Fine, have your freedom, but it's not wrong to uphold a standard for end game group activities either.

The leniency in this game is a bit ridiculous. End this fantasy in a fantasy of being able to play how you want stuff... atleast in end game activities.... and especially in end game random joining activities.

Of course, this method is a bit complicated(probably not the best way to do it), but IMHO, locking roles based on minimum specs required in dungeons/trials, is the best way to force out non prepped players.

You want to be versatile? You want to be able to play as a Tank one day, a healer the next and even a DPS if needed? Provide the required specs,THEN you're golden. I guarantee the rate of newbies joining these specific end game activities, WILL drop. Atleast well underpowered ones....

Good luck with this. It's akin to 'gear score' and we know how most of the players in this forum and ZOS feels about competition.

Nope, everyone is a winner in ESO. They'll solve the group problems by introducing more solo content and phase out group content is my guess.

God forbid that any new players should want to learn how to be useful in a dungeon or trial! :#

Honestly to players wanting to get into doing high level content, there are guilds out there where people will help you learn the mechanics of a dungeon, or help train you up to participate in trials, not everyone who plays is only interested in a speed run with experienced players. I'd suggest asking in the relevant forum recruitment thread for your server.

Epona was a Romano-Celtic goddess dating back to around 1800 to 2000 years before computer games were invented.
