Blacksmithing Writ Question

On the Blacksmithing Writ, it's asking me to make 2 Voidstone Daggers and Pauldrons and 1 Rubedite Helm. But on every other Blacksmithing Writ, it's only 1 of each item. Was this intentional? If not this needs to be adjusted. That one writ is 46 Voidstone.

Not sure its intentional, but been that way for a while. That one is part of the rotation. For whatever reason, it takes twice as many Voidstone.

My 2 cents, writs are one of the best ways to make consistent money in this game. I do about 20 a day, which translates into 90k a week and a bunch of gold mats. It adds up if you plan to play for a while.

yeah i do all the writs as well on my crafting character. I use it just to make Gold Mats and save them for new gear.

Keep running short of the second level mats tho. Ought to do farm runs with lower char. Gonna get tpugher soon.

I honestly just buy them. It's funny because they are becoming more valuable than max level mats. I use about a stack of each a day. Haha

i agree with OP, I hate that writ. I spend 90% of my game time at the moment in Wrothgar where there are no voidstone nodes unless you have a survery, so I end up just having to buy stacks of voidstone every so often so that I can do the writs. Kind of a pain, but it is what it is.

I just spend an hour or so twice a week doing a mat farming run through v8 - v10 areas and pick up everything I need for a weeks worth of writs on 4 chrs.

Me too, although I go to Craglorn for the chance I might pull some nirncrux.

I was relieved to learn the top level writs don't require V16 gear...

i buy stacks of voidstone ore and then just store the ingots in my bank. granted, it costs a few ingots to complete the writs, but i more than make up for it with alloys and mats i get from turning them in.

agreed. im sitting on about 70 temporing alloys and maybe 20 kutas just from doing writs.

Lol yeah I'm sitting on 110 Wax, 60 Alloys, 60 Rosin. 50 Kutas from the writs.
If indeed Voidstone, Void Blood or Nightwood. I hit Alikr (AD) and ride for 30min. Usually can get a stack of each.
