why did you change the forums

this top banner is driving me nuts. its a damn shame because its not often i feel like a forum is the perfect format and you pretty much just switched away from it

    They changed the UI to match the rest of the ESO websites.

    And the forums are far from a perfect format. But they are acceptable.

    it's tabled up there and doesn't move. i browse while at work and have to have a smaller window while i multitask and that stupid banner is taking up like 25% of the screen. even in full screen the fact i can't make it go away is obnoxious. it's in the way, its like adding a clutter of toolbar crap to your browser

    I agree with you i also work while in the forums, and I have the window where I browse the forums smaller too. So i understand what you mean perfectly.

    @Fallen_Ray @Llilium Hello fellow work forum browsers! ;) Not sure about other browsers, but on chrome if you make the window width small enough the new layout goes away and you get the old one back.

    Oh wow, Thank you very much just tried playing with it now a little got it to a decent size, in a way that annoying banner on top is gone and i can see everything window isn't too small though. Thanks for the tip!!! You Rock!

    I'm not a fan of the top banner either. Reminds me of when I was a teen and went to use my mother's PC, and she had like 4 bars on her internet browser.

    I prefer the old layout. I like the TG theme, though. It would be neat if they kept the old layout and offered multiple themes we could pick.
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
    Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
    Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    I live in hope that somewhere, someday, someone will make a change to something that will constitute an improvement. These days in any walk of life change is introduced for its own sake and always for the worse, or so it seems to me - these forums being a classic example. I don't see anything about them that's better, and the appearance is worse. Moreover, how come they can remember my name but not my language?
