PVE Lag?

I've had this happen more than a couple of times recently. I don't recall it happening before the last patch. Anyway... I'm doing my thing, swinging a big long sword at a mob, and hitting nothing but air. Air, air, air, wth? And then, all of a sudden, mob appears 10 feet to the left of where he was when I was swinging at him. Now he's hitting me, and then I can finally kill him.

✭✭I have never noticed any lag before in PVE (PS4 NA) but I have had horrendous lag for the past 3-4 days. I have had 1 to 2 second delays when calling my mount, dismounting, trying to talk to a trader/banker etc. Have pulled out of a few dungeons because of it - getting no apparent response from pressing buttons and then suddenly everyone is in a different spot.
My weapons have also been showing incorrectly if I try and switch when this happens. You hit the swap button several times because nothing happens and suddenly I have my bow in my hand even though I am 'using' my sword and board, the sword and board skill bar is up and the sword and board attacks are happening.
Tested my internet connection, no problem there.Australian on PS4 NA server.

✭Yes, I had that happen too, in the last couple of days...
but then Australia's internet is so crap that I often see other players skipping. babedenny✭✭✭✭Also had an issue with focused charge. I was standing on a sidewalk, along with a mob. Nothing between us, or on the ground. I hit "Focused Charge" repeatedly, and it would not fire. I would get a brief animation with the golden spear, then nothing.
I kept moving closer, and closer, and closer. Still misfiring. Then, all of a sudden, it fires, and I attack.
The two could be related, or not at all. Hard to say. FWIW, I have a solid internet connection, and my latency was 117ms at the time.
