Willpower Glitch? Please explain

I am confused. I have VR 10 Healthy Willpower Necklace with magicka enchantment on it and when I trade it for a vr 16 arcane willpower necklace with magicka enchantment I loose over 200 magicka recovery. It doesn't make sence. I emailed support and they said they couldn't help me but told me to try the forms. Can someone explain why this is happening? It is also doing the same thing when switching from healthy vr10 ring of willpower to a vr16 arcane ring of willpower (both magicka recovery enchantment) Pics included! Sorry for poor quality. I couldn't figure out how to email the screenshots so just took pics from tv.

As you can see with the vr 10 my recover is 1925 and with the vr 16 it is 1709. That doesn't make sense to me.

Then the same with the ring. it goes down to 1494 when I put on the vr 16 ring.....

Sometimes set bonuses get messed up, at least in their display on your character sheet. Try unequipping everything, logging, log back in and equip things one at a time and see if that fixes the display issue or not.

Have you tried changing them and checking your actual character sheet?

OK I will try that tonight. I have unequipped the willpower set logged and reequipped and that didn't work but maybe I need to do all items equipped.

No, it would only matter if you were less than v16.

Now check buffs, equiped skills, etc. Probably best to start by en-equiping all of your gear except the willpower setup and then adding each piece of willpower one-by-one.

Remove all of your skills from your skill bars.

OK. I wouldn't think that those would have an adverse effect on upgrading to vr 16 but at this point I will try anything and everything. I have never had this happen on any of my toons until now.. Very frustrating.

The only thing else I have to ask, did you ever check your actual stats after putting on all peices?

I haven't actually equipped the last vr16 ring. Don't really want to bind a 90K ring that doesn't work. LOL

I know that it's a pain, but could you grab us some screenshots of your character screen:

1) with no ring equipped
2) with the vr10 healthy ring equipped
3) with the vr16 arcane ring equipped

I will tonight and post tomorrow! appreciate it. I'll do whatever it takes to get this mystery figured out.

@Panth141 I can't get it to let me upload new photos. What am I doing wrong? It is only letting me do URL and I have them on my pc... Do I need to give it the file path?

The numbers are weird: a difference of 1050 max magicka when it should be either 975 with no passives or over 1060 with passives.

The recovery is -216 when it should be +16 (which makes no sense with or without passives)

The health is -869 when it should be -840 or 920ish with passives.

And +7 spell damage when it should be +18

All numbers stay the same.

Either its a Pure UI error, or some sort of weird averaging.

What's your other gear?

Also fyi, I found a perfect willpower necklace at 9k, another at 10k, and a perfect ring for 30k (though didn't look too hard) so at least you're only risking at most 30k,by actually putting it on.

Fyi the UI we are looking out is the most unreliable thing.

The only variables: Cyrodiil passives (should be constant)
Gear averaging (again you are not changing other sets) you should still gain
Ability passives (again should only provide an increase)

If your actual stats are low (which it appears to) you found a bug.

Could be battle leveling changing on gear, as it shouldn't. Or there is a bug in the gear itself.

As I haven't experienced such glitch with my all v16 gear I can only guess it's either: PlayStation glitch, or a lower level gear glitch.

But I can see absolutely no reason for you to be experiencing what you are experiencing

Wait a sec... your v10 neck gives you 294 regen boost?? That's gotta be the glitch right there.

@Waffennacht but the VR11 ring gives me more regen then the vr16 one as well. So either the healthy ones give more regen that's not listed or something is wrong with either the lower level ones being over buffed (prob the case) or the lower ones being nerffed. But like you said all my other stats are all over the board that I didn't type in.

It's gotta be an UI error, so the last option you have, is some how gauge your magicka regen rate for each peice of jewelry.

I know ur on PS so you'll have to eyeball your magicka bar regen, that much of a difference should be enogh to be seen by the naked eye.

Maybe... you can equip each set you wanna test, then close the game (going to character selection will not do it) then bring it back and see if that had any change on your character sheet. (Ignoring the "what if I were to equip this..." screen - don't even look at it)

Maybe that'll do something.

The tech team wanted me to make a video and post showing it so I started it late last night and to my disbelief the problem seemed to disappear on my main character sheet but was very jacked up still on the equip screen. Now with that being said I am going to try to do it again tonight and see if it was a fluke fix or if something has magically been done. I will update again tomorrow morning!

Yes as normal as it can... not as should.. But I am still confused as why it did it to begin with. I hope whatever was causing it has been addressed.
