Another Maelstrom weekly woe :(

Yup 3 weeks in a row received 1 hand + shield defending for the sword but today I saw a maul and was like YES FINALLY! Unfortunately it was a defending maul... if anything I really wanted precise on it but man this sucks

Yep every RNG rolls related to VMA is unfortunatly rewarding nothing but unwanted items, be it last chest or weekly

Yup pretty frustrating when I really need that maul precise for my build but oh well RNGesus awarded me but I didn't provide the proper offerings this time I suppose.

Here's something to make you feel happy:

I got 8 weekly rewards from all my toons and 7 out of the 8 came with defending trait.

And I am okay with it. RNG just either loves you or hates you. Peace!

RNG hates 99 people out of 100 in that game, it's not RNG anymore, it's a scam bigger than casino gambling machines.

I got two sharpened inferno staves the week before so I am cool. It's all about karma. Keep working on it and you shall be rewarded.

Clarify: I still don't have a viable maelstrom maul, definitely not this defending one...

Im just after sharpened fire staff. This week i got:

Precise fire staff
Sharpened ice staff
Precise maul
Precise sword and divines shield
Sharpened axe
Sharpened dagger
Precise greatsword
And one other i cant remember.

5 weeks in a row with 8 weeklies.

Multiple weeklies prior to that building up to 8. LOTS of runs. And stamina to magicka respecs for this one item.

I think thats the last time i do vmsa. Too much time and effort not enough reward or enjoyment.

Ill have to settle for a couple of precise fire and honestly sharpened ice is probably better for non dunmer in pvp since i never use blockade.

Ill make it work but i have so many of every weapon except sharpened fire. Vast majority from weeklies. Its rediculous.

To be honest, *all* of the weapons your posted can be considered best in slot weapons. Sure, you are looking for 1 specific item, but when you get 7 items in one week that are best in slot, you lose all ability to say "too much time and effort for not enough reward."
