I'll get two for SLI, but I will wait a week or two for the AIB cards to release, people like EVGA/MSI will release cards with an extra six-pin for more power and far better coolers than reference.
A great card the 1080 will be, but at £620 for a terrible reference design? No thanks. I'll wait for EVGA and spend £520 on a better design instead then step-up to the 1080 Ti.

I've been PC & Console-gaming for over a decade now and I've managed to play some of my favorite games on low-end/middle-end PCs, but of course the performance and detail isn't as good as it could be if I did have a decent/new PC. I wish there was just one system that ran EVERYTHING with no lag/FPS spikes/drops, no complexity, no need for upgrades whatsoever etc. Maybe one day.... the PC industry is so huge though, they're making BIG bucks, so I don't see us plebs getting access to advanced technology that may be locked away in confidential places anytime soon.
I'm in the process of designing a new rig and will probably be going for the 1070, I don't really need absolute top-end performance and could use the extra few hundred bucks to upgrade some other peripherals.
We'll see what the pricing looks like in a couple weeks.

Frame rates on 64 bit client are close to 30-40 FPS in cities, 60-95 FPS in the country, and consistently close to 100 FPS in delves/solo instances. Ping is around 90.
