Can you post the build? What enchants are you using?

I'm running 5/1/1 heavy/med/light, 5 Seducer, 2 Bloodspawn, 3 Endurance (all enchanted with magicka regen), 2 Twilight Embrace (any set with health at 2 trait). Health enchants on all, all points into health. Vampire, Atronoch mundus.

    CP distribution is:
    The Tower/Magician:46
    The Lover/Arcanist:76
    The Lover/Mooncalf:20
    The Shadow/Tumbling:25
    The Apprentice/Elemental Expert:73
    The Apprentice/Spell Erosion:19
    The Ritual/Thaumaturge:75
    The Steed/Block Expertise:27
    The Steed/Resistant:10
    The Lady/Hardy:10
    The Lady/Thick Skinned:10
    The Lady/Elemental Defender:10
    The Lord/Bastion:100

Of course much of this will change in a week.

    Greetings Hzarn, amazing build!
What are the traits for armor, weapon(+shield) and jewellery? Divines or Infused for armor, I imagine?

Thanks. Traits are all Impenetrable when possible. After Dark Brotherhood, I'll be playing around with some of the new traits until I find a good balance.

I'm considering running Immovable on mine, thoughts? Would provide 5-6 secs of CC immunity in exchange for some stamina every now and then. If you saw a WB incoming you could pop it if pots are on CD.
The name is Snape. Full time Banana fighting for his Queen and Country. Favourite hobby; killing the cowardly Covenant and Pact infidels threat.

Predominantly PVP based player running various characters. Mostly Magicka Templar, Magicka Sorcerer and Stamina Templar.

Proud Right-Hand Man of The Saints Knights and Sergeant-At-Arms of The Yellow Army.

I haven't found Immovable very useful. For fighting a couple of opponents, it's not needed - blocking and blazing shields are enough (and running 50k health makes most wrecking blows a non-issue). If you're fighting lots of opponents, then you won't really have time to keep casting it - you'll need to keep your blazing shield up.

Fair enough point. But what about when your CC pots are on cooldown, it could come in handy as a panic button? Otherwise you'd be a sitting duck.

I try to rotate between Blazing Shields and blocking. When I'm in panic mode, I'd rather hold block, as that will stop CC and reduce damage, and I can cast while doing it. Additionally, it would use up a slot off my main bar, so I'd have to remove something to use it effectively (back bar wouldn't be viable for something you'd need in a crunch).

I attempted this build but seems very dependent on high cp. 300 wasn't enough

Yes, it's very CP dependent, and as an additional result, doesn't work well in the non-CP campaigns.

I like your build. I've been trolling with a blazing shield tank lately too. Had a decent fight the other day you might enjoyhttps://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gy_Oob6m4HU

i would think Argonian might be best in slot for this type of build

    Max health
    9% Healing Returned
    The potion passive

For a max health race, imperial is better due to increased stam pool. But it's neck-neck at first glance. I wouldn't rule out argonian :)

I'd think the 12% stamina wouldn't be as important simply cause you're going to have low stamina with this build anyway....9% healing might let ya live longer and the potion passive might be slightly useful with it.

Eh, you may be wrong. If Imperial, you get 10% extra stamina, which for a 10-14k stamina build is only 1-1.4k, nothing much.
Versus an extra 12% health/stam/magicka each potion, which you will use a bunch of pots if a Trollplar.

Plus the extra healing is nice.

With the extra health using Heavy next patch, I imagine using the Immovable Brute morph that reduces CC break cost based on how much heavy is worn could be useful.

Great videos, it's nice to know there are still some Blazing Shield Templars in the world (besides me). I'm going a bit more extreme on the Health front, and by the time all my gear is legendary and enchanted perfectly I'll push past 75K health in PvP with Aggressive War Horn, no Emp buff.
Right now as an Imperial I'm running 5H/1M/1L; 5 Armor Master (5% max health 30k+ spell and physical resist), 3 Fasallas (including necklace), 2 Endurance rings and 2 Ashen Grip (which I want to replace with Monster set, possibly separate 1 piece health pieces but maybe not). All magicka regen enchants on jewelry and a mix of infused and divines traits with the Atronoch mundus.
It's a beast as a PvE tank, great survivability and I switch between Barrier and Aggressive Horn for Ultimates depending on what the party wants. For PvP it really shines in medium scale open world or in the close quarters of the sewer. You can take out a good number of people if you get swallowed by a zerg, but no build lasts forever in that case.

True. Either way the build is very easy t

Yes, it's very CP dependent, and as an additional result, doesn't work well in the non-CP campaigns.

I'd counter and say it's very viable in non-cp. But you have to watch those resources and mix in a few re-positions and heavy attacks to refill bars.

It's high good for breaches and with the right dps/seige support, is the only build you need plugging up those zergs.
