They update it every time the Crown Store changes stock or they run limited offers or sales. It's a one time pop-up for each update and how their game makes the money to continue going.
It's really not as bad as you're making it out to be and if something as small as this bugs you about the game you're really not going to enjoy much else in it considering some of the problems it has.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

rootimus✭✭✭✭✭I agree the advertising is pretty obnoxious (it's not like we're going to forget where the crown store is if we actually want to buy something), but pushing the alt key isn't that hard. If it is, perhaps you could ask someone to write a mod that does it for you.
Even on the internet, clear communication is important; it can be the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse"; the difference between "knowing your s***" and "knowing you're s***".

I have eso plus and they don't go away. But I don't see why OP is complaining about them. I see them like useful news on what crown store item is new.
You don't see people complaining about the ads you get on Steam because they are useful ads, you WANT to know what new games come out. In the same way, if you have a bunch of crowns and aren't using them, I can imagine the popups intensify so they try to "help" you spend them.0 -

They use it more then that. If youre not experiencing this, great. But please understand YEMV. Im constantly getting these updates for things that have been in the store for months. And while yes, its quick and easy to click out of it. It changes nothing about the fact that its OBNOXIOUS to people. I was fine with it when it would update for new things and only new things. But thats not how theyre handling it. It makes the game feel cheap. I couldn't find an English copy, but it was the same yellow letters across the screen that could not be removed...I think it went away after a time, but I can't remember, and I'm pretty sure that it popped back up at intervals if it did go away. Imagine your most epic fight ever...recording it for posterity...and right when you're about to land the killing blow...BUY THIS NEAT-O CAT FROM OUR STORE TODAY!
*shudder* I'll take a single log-in ad that can be removed from the screen immediately over that any day.
