If I use two destruction staffs will the same abilities dot overlap or will one cancel the other?

For example if i use the flame wall of elements and frost wall of elements at the same time will they both do damage?
I'm going to be grinding for this build soon. I don't want to grind to find out it does not work.

I tested this yesterday actually. Occasionally both of the animations stay but only the most recent one does damage

It's the 'skill' that matters, not the 'element'... so you can't have two 'Wall of Elements' doing damage at the same time regardless of whether they're two different elements or not. Only way it would work is if two different players applied it at the same time.
