Good morning eso community

i may come back to eso on xbox once the veteran rank are remove try out some new gear set up ideas that i have.
now can soem one let me know when is it coming for xbox.
also once its remove like i said i havent played since december 2015 so i have all v16 mats for my character, what mats am i going to need for max and are they going to be hard to get like v16 were? and have they said anything about any old gear that previously did not get to v16 that may had stop at v12 or v6 or all these old gears goin to be max level now.

You are coming back at a time when there are going to be a lot of changes, including a lot of skill changes that may affect your idea's.

Dark brotherhood (and the removal of veteran ranks) happens on consoles on June 14th.

The maximum level gear will be 160 champion points - if you already have a vet 16 character then you will automatically be given enough champion points to wear top level gear.

The crafting materials haven't changed (still rubedo, rubedite, ancestor silk, ruby wood), but they are much more common now. If you had the orsinium dlc you won't struggle to farm them.

Unfortunately your lower level gear will only be converted to an equivalent champion level, so if you had a vet 12 helmet it will be a 120 champion point helmet.

But, a lot of the old PVP sets that you couldn't get at vet 16 will be returning and you can get them at max level. This is going to create some really interesting new builds.

This is becoming a longer post than yours, so if you have any questions post in the forum, people are really helpful.

I think Dark Brotherhood (VR change) comes ~15 June. The materials will stay the same you as there's no cap increase and if you have Thieves Guild DLC then they're easy to come by, they've also dropped significantly in price in guild stores.

Some sets (notably from PvP vendors) are getting bumped up to v16 but I don't believe anything that you have already purchased will be bumped up.

v16 materials will still be the highest-tier materials available, and they are much easier to get now.

Not all sets are being scaled up, but quite a few are. Perticularly sets from Sanctum Ophidia and many from PvP.

so the lower level gears that have 120 champion point, that means what that you can level the gear up to 160 champion or do you need to farm the gear to come with 160 champion point?

They are getting rid of vet level June 12th on console with the Dark Brotherhood patch I know they are scaling the Sanctum Trial to VR16 so the sets in that Trial can be VR16 and I think a few PVP sets will be boosted to VR16 along with new DB sets depending on how many skill points you have in a crafting profession you can go to Wrothgar or Hews Bane and farm mats its not that hard. and if there Vet 6 or 12 sets there still not max level sets 160 Champion Points is considered max level so that VR 6 piece became a 60 cp piece.

so it sound like their really no different in the removal of v16 gear rank you. if the gears are being set with with champion points which some gears don't make it up to max level.
that its the same as it is right now not all set gear are valuable at max?

or am i looking at this wrong

VR16 mats have never been hard to get, seriously the tempers are the hard part not the mats...

You're right, not all gear will scale to max level. For example the master weapons from vDSA will still be cp140 (vr14) gear. Hopefully the scaling of Sanctum to cp160 means that we'll see more sets that scale up in the near future.
