It's a bit scary now, but it will seem like hardly any time has passed and they will be 27, married, and living in San Francisco. You'll still worry about them, but not in the "must have eyes on baby at all times" sort of way. Babies are crafty though. You set them down, leave the house for just a few hours, and they are never where you left them when you get home!

1. You will think about the baby a million times a day.
2. You will have a new respect for your parents.

4. Poop and vomit will longer phase you after a time.
5. You will act like a fool to see your baby smile.
6. You will miss sleep and go to great lengths to get it.
7. You will have a new inner strength you didn't know you had.
8. Your belongings are no longer yours.
9. Your showers and bathroom breaks are now communal.
10. You will have more love and joy in your life than you ever thought imaginable.

oh and lastly 11. When the child gets a wee bit older and goes to school they will bring back colds that will affect you and your husband as well, remember this and be prepared.

You young lady and young man are well on your way to Vet Lvl's. Children change everything in your life and will be one of the hardest Lvls you will obtain in life. But the little Skyshards and Attribute Points you receive(aka mile stones & Love you receive will be the greatest feeling you will ever know. Don't blink and don't turn away because as soon as you do they are out of the house and you will hear the sound of tiny feet pitter pattering down the hall in search of the Grampie's. Congrates to you both. There shall be laughter and there shall be tears but in the end the Adventure is like nothing you have ever been on before. Best Wishes and Much Happiness to you both.

I would say the first is hardest, but for us it was the third. Little bugger just would not sleep. AT ALL!

Kids are one of the best/hardest things you can do in life. Your lows will be lower, but your highs are higher also.

What kind of leave do you get down there anyway? 12 weeks unpaid? Guess that's one con of living in the US eh? Good for us though. You'll be back before the next DLC at that rate. :P

Oh one other thing.

People will offer to help with things, like making you food, cleaning etc.. NEVER turn down an offer of food. Even if you don't eat it you will be happy to have that ready - to - go food in the fridge you can just re-heat and not have to try to feed yourself and baby at the same time.

For our first our families kept bringing food over in the first few days and I didn't get it...until the 3rd or 4th day when we were exhausted.

The second and third nobody cared about, lol. But by then we were pros anyway.

Of course I add my own best wishes on impending big moment. I know you can feel the love.

My own bit of advice from my single foray into parenthood late in life. Get a windup swing for the baby. Seriously. Sometimes they cry for no good reason and nothing will sooth them, though do try singing because that sometimes works, anyway, there you are with a miserable infant and you are miserable and Mr. Bruno is miserable, indeed the world seems ready to self-destruct in utter misery. Put the baby in the swing, wind it up and let him/her cry. My own son usually took two wind-ups before he sputtered out and went to sleep. This is so much better than taking them out for a drive which is the other make-it-stop solution.

Careful, Gina. They grow up too fast and introduce you to strange games called the Elder Scrolls. I blame my younger son on getting me hooked on Oblivion. And now I am here.
