Constant crashing and poor performance after last patch

On 32-bit and 64-bit clients. I can get maybe 5 minutes in of gameplay before it crashes, and before that I get frequent stuttering from dropping to single digit FPS. If this can't be rectified I'll just cancel my sub.

Edit: The crashes happened before the patch, but it was usually every 45-60 minutes, not every 5 minutes like now. After many of the crashes, it'll also block me from re-entering the game for 5-10 minutes. I'll get to the character screen and load, then after a minute or two loading screen it'll kick me back to the login screen saying "Unable to connect to server." This part was present before the patch.

Do you get an actual crash or just booted back to the login screen? If the latter, try running Repair from the launcher options. I was having the same thing starting this weekend and after I ran that I (hopefully) think it's OK.

Edit: Now it crashed as soon as I accepted the damn queue to Cyrodiil.

Edit 2: Now I'm getting disconnected and can't get back into the game.

In my case I see a +999ms ping due to poor server response.

Ya , crashing to login screen seems to be getting worst....

But whats funny is sometimes, before i crash , everything just stops ( ecept for my char) its like I am in a time warp , i can run around and look at other players, they are all frozen/not moving lol, takes about 1 min or 2 and then crash to login

Same here, random disconnects and terrible lag. EU-PC megaserver.

@ZOS_GinaBruno or @ZOS_JessicaFolsom, can you please have someone look at it?

And same here. Applied patch and now the latency in Cyrodiil is all over the place, ranging from 70ms to well over 8000ms. Constantly get dropped back to login

In short: Can't play the game since the last update.

That's because you are not crashing, but your connection to the server is timing out and once it's timed out you get dumped to the login screen.

I've been having similar issues. FPS drops down to single digits. (Normally hover at close to 99FPS). I've also had lots of client crashes.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom: The problem still persists. Log in to the game and within 5 minutes I will time out and get dumped to the login screen, effectively making me unable to play. Yesterday was fine, today post-patch it's all broken.

Still having the same problems so just done some play testing on PTS, no problems there. So problem must be at ZOS's side.

Same as above stated problems.. As of today all of the sudden having insane latency, and sometimes dropped back to loginscreen aswell.. Tried doing all the various 'fixes' given by Zeni, none have helped to solve the problem.. Been tangling with this all day and tbh right now Im really fed up with this sh.t.. So not amused!

Don't forget to send in bug reports. They do not seem to monitor these forums much.

Yeah this is really getting on my nerves...

I quit ESO for about a year because of all the instability and stuff.. i got back like 2 days ago and all seemed rather stable.
Yesterday night i decide to give eso another try for real and buy the thieves guild.. i log out. Log back in this morning and the game has become unplayable due to the lagspikes. Can't even do solo quests anymore.
[removed my whining, but want to let know im still unhappy about the situation.]

Personally, I have yet to be kicked out, but game frezes ranging from 5 to 30 second makes it almost impossible to play anyway.

Same problems here.
Very frequent lag spikes up to 30000ms! and frequent crashes and disconnects.
This makes the game completely unplayable

Could the Log In button on the support ticket page be fixed for Chrome users? Even hitting the Enter key doesn't work. I'll submit through Firefox for the time being.

I think you need to click it in a weird location on the button. After some random clicking I got it to work.
