Not having fun anymore

I don't know what it is... I'm just not having fun playing the game anymore. I mean, PvP is ZvZ (zerg vs zerg) and it's not exactly challenging, it's more irritating when your part of the group pushes the enemy back only for the rest of the line to fail to keep up. You die, rez at the keep//camp, go back in, same thing. It's kinda irritating. I wish there were battlegrounds to do or something, or arenas, you know, set number of players making it a display of skill and//or coordination.

PvE isn't much better either. What's the point of running trials and pledges? I have all the gear I want, and the trial gear is irrelevant as the crafted gear is able to keep up if not surpass trial gear.

IDK, just not having fun playing this game anymore. I want to have fun, but it feels like all I do not is log on, maybe do a dungeon, maybe level an alt, more than likely roleplay. I want to have fun playing the game again.

Any suggestions as to how I can have fun again?

Uninstall and play a different game
I think I'm slowly heading in that direction myself.

That aside, you could try dueling for PvP and Idk...did you try the new Trial? That one does drop some interesting sets.

Try taking a break i find that in my 8 years of playing mmos this game can burn out the most because it lacks variety, there is too little fun dungeons (too little dungeons in general), dsa is not rewarding which kills my interest in doing it and trials are things i do once or twice a month and be done because i don't feel the need to get the crappy sets from them.

Branch out your build, Find your own niche builds.
Duel and hang out with people.
Challenge yourself to "random veteran dungeon finder"
Put on some songs while you pvp.

For me 90% of the fun in the game comes from people. Find those people. Hang out and chat with those people. Get a small group of fans or something. Hold a 1vs1 tournament or 2vs2 4vs 4 etc...

Hold Horse races across zones...

Try solo challenges. Like unfinished dolman, Skyreach pinnacle, First boss of AA, First boss of HRC, shada's tear, magickal anomolies, Nirncrux mines, etc

Start Streaming and get your twitch channel started.

Go questing naked and actually listen to the dialogue and get into the story line.

Start working on your achievements (maybe with 1 or 2 others that are in the same boat as yourself)

Reroll another character.

Make a awkward and gimped Hybrid.

If you dps now, Try Tanking, then healing.

Start a guild.

Go off mapping and see the secret places that have often enough humorous lill easter eggs, or entire odd ghost towns with different textures then the ones in the "regular instance"... See if u can find some hidden npcs out there!

Get a castle, loose a castle.... Get the same castle....
How hard can it be to release some PVP new content?! I don't know, anything at all ?!?! Please?!

Go PTS PVP and enjoy 2 more weeks of small scale duels.

Keep the questing for live tho.

If you want small scale PvP the head to the "dead" campaigns or play in Imperial City. Avoid the main campaigns where everyone fights in mass numbers.

Otherwise not much I can help you with. Try thinking outside the box and doing stupid stuff with friends like vDSA without armour etc. make the game fun/challenging again for yourself.

Go play Fallout 4 for a while, the contrast difference in setting between the 2 acts well as a natural "reset" of the boredom factor.

I've been doing this as well.

Survival mode is getting annoying though, I love all the mechanics but not being able to save and leave when I need or standing on a pothole in the road and dying to fall damage...

I agree op. I am unsubbing after DB and will resub once battlegrounds like WoW is implemented. I like big pvp battles and all but there also needs to be smaller objective based pvp that is fair teams, 10v10v10 or 20v20v20.

IC is going to have major update change in DB.

OP take a break then! Seriously, BUT do come back a week or 2 after DB releases (so the worst kinks are fixed) and enjoy the game again

Take a break, go to a different game, come back to enjoy Dark Brotherhood, then take another break

Maybe give BloodBorne a go, Dark Souls, anything more challenging than ESO.

Heheh ... joking aside though. There's no harm in taking a break. When I got bored I came on the forums and started posting concept threads. That's kept me entertained in the subject of ESO enough to keep me going back.
